Am I the only one that hate all those bloody previews in all GTx games? Arent they a waste of disk space? Instead of all previews they could put a extra car or two, am I right or wrong?
I don't think they wast disk space, in GT3 they were useful to a degree cos they let you see what type of cars you were going to race against. I would prefer more restrictions to each race though like Bhp limits.
Elaborate on that a little will ya?
I don't think I'm 100% quite understanding you. Do you mean like extra previews of the game itself or what?
Editk, I don't really mind. Never bothered me. I can't see the preview of each race taking up any disk space. Although actually I think it's kinda handy, as it give you a kind of idea what kind of competition you're up against and what type of cars. Saves you actually having to load up the actual race and find that you have either a heavily over powered or under powered car for the job.
I have to say im with the 'for' crowd....it means you can keep your win percentage up by finding out what cars you need to beat in each race. Very useful indeed!
The previews that you can see before the race are not videos, you know how at the end of the race you can see your replay? There you go it just saves where you braked, how fast you went on the main straightaway, if you spun out on a turn, in the PS2's memory. So its basiccly a race that you cant control in the replays. The same with the previews before the race. How come is there a gameshark code in GT2 that lets you race in the replays then? Exactly. So it does not take up hardly any space at all.
