I'm just being open minded about what are some productive car tuning.

I would hope that PD can put in caster (it is adjusted to achieve the self-centering action of steering, which affects the vehicle's straight-line stability), and/or wheel plus tire size. I don't mean "bling" when talking about wheel & tire sizes, only function. This would tremendously improve handling characteristics for car.

Any input on what people think for other ideas for car tuning would be great, I'm curious.👍

i understand your point they could add things like this so you could have better turning but i feel people are asking PD for to much.....i think PD wanted the game to be a challenge, becuase with better handing comes less wrecks faster turns sooner excelleration and so on, i think they feel the same as me they want to satisfy the fans but still leave a challenge

That really just sounds like making excuses for laziness on PD's part. It would add depth to the tuning but at the same time wouldn't make it easier for 90% of players since we can't share tuning setups like we can on Forza's Storefront. Most people don't know enough about tuning to do it properly themselves, so most won't bother and the novices that do are just as likely to make the car worse as make it better. That only leaves the expert few, who are probably already excellent behind the wheel anyway.

It isn't asking "too much", either, on account of their most direct rival already doing the same, and PD is supposed to be better than Turn 10. If Turn 10 can do it, PD should be able to do it.

yeah thats true but you never know GT6 may have evey thing we have ever mentioned (less miatas, more old fun cars, faster, more dynamic game play) id also like to see two types of versions like a advanced player and a person who isnt go great and the advanced would have all these diffrent types of adjustments.. but PD works hard to make these games and nothing can be perfect

This is both true and false. Its true most individuals don't know much about car tuning and their characteristics. There are tuning threads on this forum to help people with problems they may have. It can be false because half the time I see many people not even curious how things work, hence the term "trial and error."

I'm not trying to bash on those individuals who are trying to make a progress by learning (I was there too teaching myself) and asking questions, its the individuals that tell me "give me your tune" I lose respect for.

OK back to the subject. I was actually surprised that PD hasn't installed caster or wheel & tire size when it first came out.. Or (I just thought of another one) real custom spring rates that is not maxed out to a certain level and/or can revalve the dampers to fit those spring rates.

I'm not complaining, just wondering what can they do to make it better :)👍

I guess they (PD) have to draw the line somewhere for this stuff... example, having variables like tyre pressure might be taking things too far, maybe?

Yea, I'm just looking for (hopefully) more variables in the tuning concept because its been the same since GT3 except physics has changed over the series.

I don't think so, because it does play a roll as well. When tires heat up, they expand and if you have more pressure at the front or rear -it creates understeer or oversteer.

Any more ideas someone can think of would be great. 👍
