What is a good free blog to use? (Answered)

So I've been thinking of starting a blog for me to sit around and rant about the anime I watch, since I've really begun to make a hobby out of it lately. I figure it'd be good for writing practice and for fun (since I love to talk about this kind of stuff) :)

Problem is I'm at a sort of a loss as what to use for a blog/site thing. I experimented with the default one Yahoo offers but that is hilariously bad - it won't accept my plain text entries half the time!

I don't really require anything fancy, just something that functions and gets the job done - text and images and a simple interface (if I could sort/tag entries, that would be nice) would be plenty.

I'm still in high school and don't have a lot of disposable income to speak of getting my own domain or anything, so that's why I'm requesting a free site. I'm a decently fluent programmer so I figure I could pick up HTML if I tried but I don't expect to be coding my own site from scratch anything soon.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks! :)
 
Livejournals are free, you can use one of those. They work decently well if you know what in the world you are doing, I quit using mine because I ran out of things to talk about though.
 
Alright, I think I've got a winner.

Blogger seems to be pretty much just what I'm looking for, so I'll give that a shot. Thanks Duck (with accent mark that seems to change every time I look at it XD)! ^^
