Beauty is in the eye of the Beer-holder. :p

Seriously, however, I think we can all agree upon.

Acceptance.
Quiet.
Tradition.

My contributions (In no order at all) are

PHI (Or as it is better known throughout the thread, the Golden Ratio)
"The Triumph of Death" by Brueghel and most other Gothic art. In fact, Death itself has a beauty.

Pink and Orange sunsets over the mountains... Just a quiet setting in the woods filled with snow.

The Phantom Corsair, the GT40, the Corvettes in my avatar.

Of course, my girl.

Mushroom clouds, no matter how destructive.

Lightning storms.

Waking up beside your signifigant other and realize they've been admiring you sleeping for the last five minutes. (Just experience for first time yesterday. :D)

Stained glass windows.

Lacrimosa by Mozart.
Piano music in general.

Also orchestrated and metal.

Complete thoughts.
Having a vision and seeing it caried out how you wished.

Respect for Authority, but also a friendliness of them. Familiarity to people all around the world as you new them personally. GTPlanet, Period.

A full night of sleep with a full stomach.

Your lover's blanket in the winter.

Happiness.

Satisfaction.

Aging gracefully.

Love.

Knowing quite simply, there's someone who cares for simply who you are.

Cheesy things like the last sentence.

Being able to laugh at yourself.

Being scared to the point of soiling, and the ability to enjoy retelling the tale.

A good story at all.

Stonehenge, Cadillac Ranch, and Notre Dame.

Finally, Famine.

Cheers,
Jetboy

I've still got it after all these years. That's a beautiful thing.

Let's keep it on topic...reading the first few posts won't kill you, either.

Congratulations! You have won a free Apple iPhone for responding to a four year old thread with a useless, unfunny remark. 👍 👍

Honestly, I thought Condraz was going on one of his escapades with this thread. Turns out it's just someone who decided to dig up an old fossil.

:sly: It's not old now...

I am curious as to what the 'golden ratio' is? I have never heard the term

I see grace as beautiful. It's more than attractive, or even extremely attractive - it's an entirely different thing. It's elegance that's beautiful, not just eye candy.

The question "What is beauty?" can't be defined in my opinion. As close as I've ever heard is it being in the eye of the beholder, which we've all heard.

Beauty to me, is knowing yourself and not being fake. If you and your partner know everything about each other and still love them, that's beauty.

I personally perceive something as being beautiful when I can think of no way to make it better. Nothing needs to be added, nothing needs to be taken away - it's perfect how it is. Take, for example, one of my favourite looking cars of all time, the TVR Griffith 500. I cannot think of any possible way to improve the way it looks, and so I find it to be beautiful.

beauty to me is seeing my fincee holding my daughter.
i alo find beauty in vehicles as in the 2003 ford lightning. every time i ride in it i have to remind my self "this is a truck, not a car, a TRUCK" when both come together it's a sight to really enjoy
