Ok, im confused. What the heck does chrome line mean? Is it just that car coloured chrome? Please help.

Chrome Line cars are DLC cars that can only be gotten through having the Collectors or Signature Edition of the game. They have GT logos and, as the name would suggest, Chrome Racing Stripes down them. They are all also slightly modified from their true counterparts. The cars available with Chrome Line are the Audi R8 5.2 V10, BMW M3 Coupe, Jaguar XJ13 (needs to be obtained in a different way), Mercedes 300 SL, Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 and Shelby Cobra 427. ;)

And they aint as good as the stealths.

But that's because the Stealths are race cars; chromes (with the exception of the Facebook DLC Jag') are road cars so they won't be the same will they? I really like the R8 V10, it feels just that bit better to drive than a stock dealership V10 and of course looks great!

I believe theses are also available to purchase from play.com £14.99, chromeslines only .

Gamesharing is, in fact, against the PSN terms of service. You can only have your account active on 5 consoles at a time, but allowing another user access to your login details isn't permitted.

Anyone on GTPlanet who is encouraging users to break the PSN terms of service will also fall foul of our Acceptable Use Policy.

I have all the chromelines and stealths and yes your correct the stealths are race cars but why cant you tune them as much as there road counterpart for example the F1 cannot be lightened as much, but saying that the NSX and GTR are amazing but again ive a Epsom NXR that beat the stealth version all round. I believe they are only aloud to be partially tuned as a start to the game as they came from pre-ordor thus giving us a start early on, I still race them most off all online and have in my opinion done some amazing times round nurburgring for an amature.

can you get the xj13 chrome line in the usa? i have a japan and a uk account but my main account is america (where im located), but i cant seem to get it to work. it downloads and says everything is fine, but it doesnt show up in the game. help?

sorry to hijack a little.

On a similar topic, can a chrome line be one of 6 shared cars?

I know I can put it there, but can a user without the collector's edition use it?

No, you can't. You can set it to share but no one else will be able to borrow the car.

Chromelines and Stealths can be set to share BUT no-one can share them, they are only for show.
