what is going on with my bob's stat bars?

I looked around here and didn't see it posted. I started gt5 up this morning and noticed the bars had changed from 2 days ago.

All the stat bars on all my bobs have at least some of the crosshatch on the end of them. The bob shown has the largest amount though. It hasn't changed with their mood arrows or races either.

I think after a while your BOBs start to get worse, so you probably need to retire him and get a new one.

After 75-80% career Experience.
The driver will reach a Darrel Wall trip, Damon hill, David Coulthard performance barrier and there skills will drop.
Not all ex past it drivers can have a TV career so are just fired instead...

Ok, I was aware their skills dropped, I've just never seen the end of the bars look like that.
