Hello Gtp members,

I had some difficulty trying to finish this race and its getting to my nerve really,
so your advice is more than needed, what is the best car and the fastest to do this race with?
What kind of setup I should be looking to. and what technique should I follow?

:)

Mazda Roadster RS NC (2007).

It's the most upgradable (I think) and is actually a lot of fun to drive even with a silly amount of power in it!

I used the first car I bought in the game, the J-Ltd, '91. Sure, I tuned it up so it could pass the others, but also tuned the suspension so I could take the big turn while minimizing understeer and oversteer. It was fun doing that.

4 hours is 4 hours. There is no car in the universe that will make that pass more quickly.

All the MX-5's in the game are capable of winning this race. It's up to you to do it in the way that satisfies and amuses you the most.

Respectfully,
Dotini

With the 2007 Model it should be a breeze. I started the race with hard sports tires, only minor motor modifications, adjustable suspension, drivetrain mods and a spoiler. Stopped it after 3 laps and took out the motor and drivetrain mods cause I was gaining way too much seconds per lap to be any fun at all.

I'm pretty sure that's what I used in B-spec. Modified to the max, full weight reduction, etc. It won easily and I never had to give Bob any commands at all.

Did this with the Premium 91 car, pretty tuned to about ~5 sec faster on Sport medium tire. Did it with a friend and he was nice enough to be very rusty with GT and when I got to drive I was already a lap down(lol). Hopped in, swap to soft in about 20-25 mins I got back in the lead....

For some reason, I had problems with this from the beginning. I was using a Eunos Roadster J-Limited '91 fully built. I guess my drivers just suck because in the turns he would slow down horribly and then catch right back up again on the straight

For one, I used Sports Hard which was stupid, he kept spinning the tires once the wear dropped past about 70%

I think with a bit more transmission tuning and soft sport tires he would have ripped it. Still managed to pull off a gold though, ugh...glad I will not have to be doing this again lol...
