Ive just started a team of roadcar drag racing but before I buy the cars for my team i need to know what wud be better RWD, 4WD or FWD

You obviously miss the spirit of GT5-dragracing.


AWDs have the best launch, therefore they have a big advantage, especially in 1/4mile drag.

All of them are good if tuned correctly.
 
I cant imagine FWD / FF could also be good even if set up right? I think the advantage of RWD doesn't really count in GT5. I would go for AWD / 4WD.
 
He wants the best car, for each class or absolute, doesn't really matter though.
Drag racing in GT5 is not about to take the best car in your garage and to beat slower cars. It's about a fair battle between equal cars with individual tunes. The tune counts, not the car.

I concur. For example, DLR beat an Enzo with a Dodge Ram. I beat some ACRs with my R34, unbroken. It's ALL in the tuning. For example, if you and I race the same cars (say R33's), you would most certainly beat me lol.

And besides, beating slower cars is not fun :crazy:
 
Best ever for me was beating a veyron, a gtr 09 and an acr in the same room about 6 months ago using my chevelle.
