I just perfectly fine tuned the suspension on my 640hp Champagne Gold CL600 and my 410hp Red 328ci. These things handle like you would not believe, if anyone has either of these cars basically fully maxed out, I will happily give you my settings and I assure you will be amazed.....

Anyways, since I love the German style and all of the German cars in GT3, I wanted to see which ones you liked. This is a multi choice Poll, so please feel free to choose several of your favourites.

Thanks for voting, 12 Sec Civic.

i like the RGT... :) Can turn, unlike the CTR2, plus it has got the horses to match :p

You forgot the 2 DTM cars.
but I suppose your not counting the racecars.
Also the Opel speedster is made in the UK (the chassis is basically a lotus elise)

RUF RGT
Audi S4
Mercedes CLK55 AMG

My top 3

well, it did say roadcars :p

no2: CLK 55 AMG
no3: BEETLE RSi

Oh yeah, i didnt read the pole title, but I still stand by the notion of the Speedster as an english car. Its also called the VX220 over here.

So in your version of GT3 it is called the Vauxhall VX220 right? So it is under Vauxhaull with all of the UK cars right? So are there any other Vauxhaull cars, and is there an Opel under Germany in your version? I am just curious.

there is a vauxhall, it has:
Calibra (Touring car)
Astra (Touring car)
VX220 (Road car)

If you switch the language to german the cars change to opel. there is also a thingo i have noticed. the emblems on the front of the car change and on the touring cars instead of saying vauxhall on the back they say opel. to notice this go to the german race in amateur championship and you should see some touring cars with vauzhall on the back ;)

Yeah thats right, the stupid thing is that they rebadged the Opel Astra DTM car and called it the Vauxhall Astra DTM car. I can get the Opel speedster and the Opel Astra DTM car by starting a new save in german on my other memory card and then trading the cars to the UK language save, But I cant be arsed to do this.

If I select the English Language option I get Vauxhall in the UK part.
If I select any other Language (I forgot the rest of the world sees those cars as opels/chevrolets/holdens) I get Opel in the German part.

But the VX220/Speedster was designed by vauxhall.

unfortunately there's no aussie language.... Now that's not a car, THAT'S A CAR!!!

Oh yeah I forgot about the calibra.

IMO

Astra DTM (entirely german)
Calibra Touring Car (not sure if its an old dtm or some other touring car series but its also entirely german)
Vauxhall VX220/Opel Speedster (English, basically a lotus with a Vaxhall/opel badge on top)

Calibra is an old german from the 95 ToCA

Wow, what an awesome response from everyone, just when I was beginning to think this Forum was dead.

I find the CTR2 very sluggish and NO lateral grip. But with Super Softs it is a very nice car, you just have to pamper it and not do anything to set it off and you cant be aggressive with it, but you will surprisingly beat many cars around the actual lap because once you see a straight away you can just lay on the throttle. Mine is silver with 528hp

The RGT is of course just flawless. I have 2 very quick and surprises me everytime I drive them. One is DARK navy with 535hp and one is yellow with 550hp

The 3400S I find to be such a wonderful car to drive, I have so much fun with my white 500hp one, very quick and stable. I also have a Gold one with 610hp that I used to beat Spider & Roadster Pro. But my white one is set up to be alot faster.

The CLK55 AMG has pretty bad oversteer but I am sure I can cure it with my new found suspension tuning skills. Even still, with 610hp you would expect as much. Mine is red

My BMW 328ci is now set up so perfectly it scares me. No oversteer, amazing lateral grip, crisp but not twitchy turn-in and lots of grip when exiting hair pins. It is red with every mod and maximum NA hp of 410. I also have a less extreme, black one with a turbocharged 320hp.

My CL600 WAS very hard to control but I applied my new tuning skills and cured it completely. It now behaves just like my 328ci but with a little more wheel spinnage on corner exit. But no oversteer despite 650 throbbing hp under that beautiful Champagne Gold Hood.

The Opel Speedster isn't sold in North America so I have no attachment to it, I will say however that just from driving it, it is a very quick and stable car. I can imagine great tuning potential, sadly mine only has 175hp and it is Orange.

The Audi S4 in Black is one of the most stunning cars in the game, and it is surprisingly light, with 440hp mine jumps off the line quite vehemently. But it has numb turn in and has trouble setting up for a nice clean line through a tricky turn. Even still, it has better lateral grip than most 4WD's. I have had 5 of these but had to sell them and keep my true baby!

The TT isn't the most thrilling car to drive and it is pretty difficult to get out of control, even when fully modded; I really like its throttle-off tail kick-outs that are very nice when entering a tight hairpin. Mine is yellow with 335hp

I have a black SLK 230 with 350hp, it is SO beautiful and handles very well, it has no trouble putting down that power, and I found it didnt need any suspension tweaking. I had a yellow one that I used to hate, I sold it and bought this one and I am in love...

The VW Beetles are crappy.

Thanks for hearing about my awesome European track machines!!

Dont even get me started on my love for the Lotus Esprit, it would be a 1,000 word essay.

I absolutely love the German cars, and I wish that EA would just release the rights to some of the nicer rides, such as the M series cars among others and stop wasting time with the NFS games. Hey 12sec. Civic, I would love to try your settings for the BMW and the CL600. I have my silver BMW set up fairly nice but would like to see what you have tuned. Its a joy to drive. I have actually invested the time into a Speedster, and i like it better than the Elise. It doesnt take a whole lot of effort to get the best out of it.

CLK55 DTM or Astra Touring Car.
2 of my favortie GT cars of all time.

RGT is the best of the street cars, but only take mine slightly modified.

Here is my setup for the 328ci and CL600, they may not look like normal setups but they work very well....

Fully modded 650hp
CL600:
Spring Rate F:15.5 R:14.5
Ride Height:92mm
Shocks 7 all around
Camber:Front 2.0 Back 2.0
Toe:Front1.0 Back1.0
Stabilizers:both 5
LSD: 20-45-20
Tarnny set to 38 with 1st 2nd brought closer to 3 as much as they will go and even 3rd raised a bit, to prevent wheel slippage.

Fully modded 410hp
328ci:
Spring Rate:F:11.5 R:12.0
Ride Height:102mm
Shocks Bound:F&R=7
Rebound:F&R=6
Camber Front:2.0 Back:2.0
Toe:Front:1.0 Back:1.0

Stabilizers:4 on both
brake balance:F-24 R-20
LSD:20-50-20
Trans set to 35 with 1st 2nd 3rd brought higher to prevent slippage.

Hey, tell me what you think? I am tempted to put on the full turbo on my 328ci and then it will have 374hp. Will it set off the balance of my perfect car?

hmm... the astra and rgt. but my rgt is fully modded with near max HP.

dont have an s4, the TT is stable but not a fav. all the mercs suck (road ones). beetle rsi is easy to drive and has plenty of power (bout 300 in myn) but hardly fun

Y2TUSCAN, i mean the old one (i haven't seen it for a while coz of no foxtel for 5 years  ) where they run all peugeots and volvos, etc. they also ran a calibra there. but im more leaning towards that it was entered in the le mans 24 hours in 95...
