What is the best overall rally car

My personal favorite is the 206, what's yours.
And i use the FTO race car, just stuck some rally tires on it.

Escudo is the category killer, but I prefer an EVO Tommy Makkinen bought from the proceeds of beginner league, which will win you the Turbo and 4WD races and series, sell all the won cars mod the EVO put tyres on it, and win every race in Rally....loads of cars, $, and an Escudo!

Easiest way to a short GT3a 100%

For pure rally cars I prefer the 206 for hairpins (Tahiti circuits), and the EVO V11 Prototype for sweepers (Swiss alps) The ZZ11 is my favourite on wet tracks (SS5)

I am not a fan of the Evo's especially compared to the god like Lancia Delta, there is no better.

Yes, the FTO LM is a pretty brutal rally car. I saw 200mph come up on Smokey Mountain (which is serious brown trousers time).

I quite like the original Impreza. The '02 Prototype is okay I guess - the back-end is improved, which is all us chase-ers worry about. I look forward to driving the gorgeous '03 though in GT4.

I'd love to love the Lancia, but it's to slow, I love the styling of the car though.
I'd love to love the EVOs, and I do on tarmac, but on dirt they just drift a bit too long causing loss of speed, possible even loss of control.
So for me it's the old Scoobie Rally Car

well the first time i ever did rally i used a lancer evo 7 RS i think just slapped dirt tires @ 424 hp on it and won a celica rally car for doin it but now that i have started over, and have like 1/2 million credits and only on day 112 im gonna buy a impreza 22b sti version and trick it out anyway if i had to choose a fav rally car it would be... probably celica rally it just looks cool

I like the celica as well, in fact i hybrided it, i stuck a beetle rsi tune in it and it goes around 1500 bhp now.

In GT3 I'd have to say my favourite was the Corolla rally car. Got me through all the rally races.

Almost any.....
Some will not allow dirt tires to be placed on them. I just went through each and every car and tried putting rally tires when i bought or won it.

U can do rally with lot of cars for only 22 000 i think u can buy dirt tire put some setting in the car and it should be good

So, I guess the only ones that can't often use rally tires are the race cars. It looks like these are the ones that stand out as impressive cars that can use rally tires:

FTO LM Race Car - 4WD, 920HP turbo 4, 980kg
Impreza LM Race Car - 4WD, 919HP turbo 4, 1150kg
Altezza LM Race Car - FR, 954HP turbo 3, 1150kg
Nismo Skyline GT-R R-tune - 4WD, 876HP turbo 3, 1560kg

compared to the rally cars:

Impreza Rally Car Prototype - 4WD, 523HP turbo 3, 1230kg
206 Rally Car - 4WD, 429HP turbo 2, 1230kg

I've been thinking about getting 100% in the minimal number of days, though, and I don't think that's possible if you put dirt tires on a non-rally car, right? Don't you always have to waste a day at machine test to put on rally tires? It doesn't let you join a rally race unless you already have rally tires.

Peugeot 206 Rally Car . . . pretty quick compared to the other true rally cars and very consistent. I also like the Ford Focus Rally Car.

How about Arcade Mode/Free Run? That doesn't require any game days...

If I'm asking a lot of dumb questions lately, it's because my PS2 is off getting fixed and I'm stuck playing GT2.
