Many people debate over what the official fastest car is in the game. Over the next few weeks, We will know.

I am going to test every single car and squeeze the fastest top speed spec wise. (choosing Turbo D, not F or G). If there's anything else you would like me to test out, I'll be willing to help you out with your questions. It will range from first to last, starting with the 1975 Volvo 242.

Not going to give out data until i've finished the analysis. I'll let you all know when I complete a car.

In my opinion it has to be the fairlady z. Because of how light the car is, it's really quick and fast and with power nitrous the car is a monster.

The challenger may be the fastest car in the game because it has almost 1,600 hp when fully upgraded but that doesn't mean anything. The car is slow possibly because it's a heavy weight but weight isn't always the case after taking a look at the Koenisegg One:1. *Originally heard this from Turn 10 when they were teasing this car for Forza 6 since I don't really know much about the One:1.* But still I've tested the challenger out fully upgraded and it's not as good as you think it would be.

I just took it for a spin stock, and you're truly right about it being zippy.

Oh dear, I'm a little disappointed with the fairlady z. It's slower than the Volvo 242 and tops out around 362. It has the fastest acceleration and quarter mile time so far, though. Sadly it has a chance of being the slowest car in the game.

Also, the fastest starter car is the BRZ.

Really? Are you talking about after upgrades or just stock? If stock, that's really surprising to me that it would beat the Mustang. But then again those fox body Mustangs were turds when they were new.

As someone who has built many drag cars on NFS, I can confirm that there aren't very many cars that can beat it in a drag race. I was walking all over someone in an Huracan in mine. The fastest cars I've found so far, are the Golf, the 73 911, and the Aventador.

Upgraded to max top speed.

When it comes to lap time (speed and cornering overall), the fastest are Aventador and 911 RSR 1972. The Aventador is the most common car I've seen online. However, I have been beating some of them on my R32 GT-R, but that's just about skills.

Probably the SRT Viper is the fastest? Also, cross out Focus RS (if you haven't tried it yet), has a top speed of 367 km/h.

The SRT Viper is in the top ten right now, and i'm only up to the Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640-SV (2010). The ford focus isn't close to having a high top speed. the challenger has a 383 km/h top speed, and the curreent slowest car (Nissan Fairlady 240zg) has a top speed of 363.

let me make it clear to everyone, that I'm maxing the cars to their highest possible top speed. Instead of taking an upgrade that decreases top speed, I ignore it. If I have to downgrade to a crap level turbo to get an extra +2 km/h, I'm going to get that part.

talking max upgraded. Stock, surprisingly, is the Honda... with 234[km/h and 197[hp], the stang has a total of 231[km/h] and 259[hp]. Don't forget the BRZ with 230[km/h] and 207[hp]. The car with the highest speed may be the Honda, but the highest horsepower is merely the ford. To make it clear I hate fords. I have a softspot for old mustangs, Shelby's and ford gt's.

It's been a long wait, hasn't it? probably billions of in-game money and weeks of my life wasted, I have all of the cars in order, and we have winners and losers.

1st Place: Ford Mustang BOSS 302 (1969): 387[kmh] and 1,025[hp] - The winning car has everything maxed out, except for an EliteTune-TC1-A-Tuner sport turbo, boosting it to 387[kmh]. Also nobody voted on it lol.
2nd Place: Dodge Challenger SRT8 (2014): 383[kmh] and 1,592[hp]
3rd Place: BMW M2 (2016): 383[kmh] and 1,088[hp]

4th: Mercedes-AMG GT (2015): 383[kmh] and 1,073[hp]
5th: Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (2014): 381[kmh] and 1,279[hp]

There we are, the fastest in order. Let me refresh the idea again; All cars were tested to their max TOP SPEED. If I had to downgrade to a lower level turbo from a higher level turbo to get that extra 3kmh, I would have to do that.
