What is the fastest car in reverse?

I'm a bit curious, as far as my knowledge goes, GTbyCitroën is fast but is there any faster cars? Thanks!

GT by Citroen has 1 gear, so no rev limiter holding it back in reverse, you can go 180+

Maybe karts are faster. They go just as fast backwards as they do forwards.

The Chapparel 2 J is also quite quick in reverse, take it to a drag room and beat someone in reverse (you'll get kicked but it's funny)

Chaparral 2J yesterday i did about 220 km/h in reverse no need to be rocket scientist to play with chaparrals 2J transmission its only 3 gears

Make sure you're using the GT By Citroen Concept and not the road car.

got 242mph in reverse from a 2j 👍 you have to tune the gear ratios to be really long to do it

the x2010 can do over 200mph in reverse with tuning too

the gt Citroën concept and tesla roadster are quick in reverse too but you can't tune the gears

Precisely the X2010 and 2011 are both fictitious cars intended to be manufacturered without regard of any of the actual restrictions for safety and fairness in the ongoing competitions, so those are not virtually counted as a real(istic) car.
