All on Sport Soft. The tunable cars were set to their default settings. All driving aids off but ABS set to 4. All cars had an oil change, engine rebuild and chassis maintenance if needed.

Interestingly the most perfect standard gearing for this particular track was on the Amuse S2000 GT1 '04. The second best standard gearing was the Spoon S2000 Race Car '00.

The S2K Turbo is obviously gonna be the fastest when it has 600hp on tap, innit?

To be fair though the S2K Turbo is hardly an S2000 at all given what it's been on. The R1's been my favourite S2000 tune for quite a while.

Oh dear sorry, I've been up all night!
 
as far as the non race cars or GT1 the Mugen is fastest in a straight line, over the spoon, amuse street version and others
 
The best for me is the Amuse Street Version simply because of how it drives. Especially with stock tires (which is Comfort Soft). What you get is this nicely balanced FR with just enough oversteer to not go over the edge. It's like driving an Elise only a lot more forgiving.
 
I really love my Amuse GT1 Turbo
 
Updated with the Opera S2000.
 
Opera Performance one can't be touched in 500pp races as I've found.
