What is the fastest Skyline?

Looking to build a Skyline for drag. Just don't know where to start. There's so many of them I don't know which is the fastest and what-not.

R35 black edition which you get through the dlc, spec v 09/07 and the r34 nur remember to put 200 miles on each car, remember to rebuild engine afterwards to get full bhp.

the r31 is faster then all the rest if you do the ls9 awd swap..tc>black>spec v

not sure on the blackmask,concet and academy editions but they are prob 9.0-9.2

I thought engine swaps weren't possible in GT5? Or is that not what it is? Sorry, I just buy cars and upgrade them. xD

you have to buy a zr1 corvette with the ls9 engine in it, then buy a r31 skyline and a r35 skyline then you get the engien out of teh zr1 corvette, the transmission and the rest of the drivetrain out of the r35 GTR and then put it all in the r31.Make sure you get it dyno tuned professionally because its alot of re-mapping the ecu with such a abnormal drivetrain swap

The fastest skylines are like i said R35 tc(dlc),r35 black edition(dlc) then the rest are around the 9.0-9.1....so buy the dlc and get the 2 fast one's so you can go online and beat everyone really easy since you have the fastest skyline.

I frown upon those who use Black Editions and GT-R's. I'd rather tune an R31 or any normal Skyline. =D

why so much trolling? either way from what i know the premium 02 skyline is the fastest behind the gtrs.

so anything besides the r35? would be the nur,mines,or r34 tc

The r35 tag may mislead you BUT, the r35 GTR is NOT a skyline. It is its own car. They made the skyline more economical running to the v35 series. Look it up. Nissan made it clear that it wasn't one.

So really the r34 is the fastest SKYLINE and the fastest r34 is the tc, then the premo spec v, then the m spec and spec v standards

But for the love of god everyone has a skyline :/ be original

Its funny though, I do always wonder why PD felt the need for 30 Skylines. 1 has 797HP and weighs 1300kg, the other has 784HP and weight 1350 1 has 729HP and weighs 1270. Do we really need 30 of them.

I didn't mean GT-R's, I meant Spec-V's. Ya know tha creme of the crop car that EVERYBODY AND THEIR MOMMA uses? Yeah. That one. I don't like those. Too many of them you see around.

My Academy runs .024 faster then the regular premium R34 Nür with EXACTLY the same tune..But my premium has chassis reinforcement even though I run and extremely tight suspension. But I had the same effect with the Black Edition with neither of them having chassis reinforcement..

I'm wondering cause the academy is much slower on the 3k (worse topspeed).

But faster with more then none correct? The 5KG doesn't help either, but that shouldn't have much effect..

Both Skylines have the same downforce and the 5kg don't explain such a big loss in topspeed. The pull of the regular R34 starts at speeds you never hit on the 1/4, therefore I wasn't sure if it's slower on the 1/4mile too.
