There are MANY better ways to start the game than by repeating races for money. These have been mentioned before, but the good ones are:

Get B License gold and get the Miata LS, which can immediately win the Roadster Endurance without even getting tires or an oil change.

Get A License gold and get the RX-8, which can easily win the Polyphony Digital Cup with some racing tires, which can give you $950,000 and the best car in the game.

Do the Time Trials first, which will give you a fast car that can also sell for $500,000.

Or simply do the events in the right order, and you won't have to repeat anything for money. For example, the Trueno only costs $13,550 and is a great car with upgrades. If you just want something to keep for a few races and win a better car, the 1993 Miata for $16,900 is by far the best thing to get. Win the Sunday Cup on day 1 with the Miata, then you can buy a Stage 1 Turbo, which adds a ridiculous 118 HP (132 -> 250 HP). When you've got a 250 HP Miata in Beginner League, you'd have to really suck if you need to repeat races for more money to buy upgrades.

yes, it has to be the test course but unlike my very patient friend xAkirax2004, i get bored halfway through the first lap....:rolleyes:
 
i actually found the Test Course to be fun if your car is tuned right. where you need to draft the comp to stay with them
 
Yes, the Test Course is fun if the competition is close and you have to draft to keep up with them. That is the only way it is exciting on that track, though. Try it with the S-class cars in Arcade Mode, it is very fun, and challenging.
 
ok enough with the vitz race...i hate it too...but the most boring for me is when you can't hear the BOV sound of the car unless your on the first person view, unless you can hear it then tell me how =D - noobie
 
Vitz series on Pro is a cracker (apart from the Test Course). But I guess winning by a lap each time can get dull...
 
besides the endo races, the boring things are the bitz/beetle cup/ pointless stuff like that

IMO People Who Consider Enduros FUN, Can consider them self a True Gt Fan, The only time i found them fun was in gt1 when i was getting used to the game, it was a mission just to keep the car off the walls, let alone keep up with the pack, maybe i should try it with a slower car, for some challenges..hmm..i just might...yep...i am

Those are some of the best races in the game. Do you think it's boring because you can't get in an F1 car and lap everybody without trying?
 
My thoughts exactly...

The best races are the close races - or the races that actually require something from the driver, other than leaping in an F1 car and ricocheting down the track at 180mph.
 
it is more satisfying winning a close race, but sometimes i do jump in the f1 if i simply cant be bothered to do a race.

i cant think of anything real boring about the game, maybe the lack of cars compared to gt2 i think ive driven 95% of the cars in gt3 now.
 
i dont know, endurance races arnt that boring, they get pretty fun when you got good competition
 
i like endurances... I wish i had time for them :(
