I'm just curious as to what surprisingly fast cars you've raced against. I'm talking about the AI cars (stock and un-modded). For example mine was in an 80's Japanese event and the list of cars to race against included Honda Civics, Mazda MX-5's and seemed easy to beat with my stock un-modded Nissan 240RS. Then I saw the Honda City Turbo sat behind me and started laughing, but when the lights went green it shot past like it was powered with nitro glycerin! And now that I've driven one (thank you OCD update) I can safely say this thing is like a pocket rocket!

You guys found anything similar?

P.S I did win the race :dopey:

The Honda Prelude in 400pp races. Freakishly hard to catch up. Managed it in an Alfa. When I tried it myself, against the AI with the same car, still had difficulties catching up. Huh?

Ford GT in 650pp event. Raced the AI on some seasonal event at one of the Tokyo tracks. I think I finally passed him on the last lap lol.

Seven Fireblade, either a glance at the low HP or 10 seconds with the fully custom tranny(worst mistake, stock is the WAY to go)one of the most rewarding cars when driven properly,or tuned right.I used this car for my Nurb 4HR Endurance.FUN

Mitsubishi Mirage Cyborg..something.. in a A Spec FF or Hot Hatchback race, can't remember

It's a rocket!

Forgot which race, but the Chrysler 300c put up a fight with my stock dodge viper gts 02. Not sure if the 300c was modded though (most likely it was since I doubt a stock 300c is that fast)

The Lamborghini Miura in Midship cars championship is the one which astounded me the most in the game, at high speed ring I couldn't even beat 1.10,000 with my own Miura without tunes a whole lot behind Pagani Zondas and other machines powered over 500 hp, the one driven by the AI always makes turns within 1.10,000(reaching around 1.08,500) and the car accelerates like a rocket as if it's powered with a much more powerful engine with specially lightweighted body after the corners.

I dunno, given that it only weight 350kg or so I don't think it's fast enough.

Jaguar XKR R Performance. How can a car so long and so heavy, with so much body roll have so much grip. I love flying around the Top Gear Test Track watching it roll horrendously but still manage fast times. Awesome car!

This 👍

I remember this seasonal because I was shocked at how fast the Ford GT was myself, took a couple of tries before I could finally catch it lol.

Reason being because it's been implemented incorrectly with the way it should perform.

Usually, there's not much I race against that surprises me, save for the Lancia Stratos that challenged me oh so long ago when I did the Festival Italia. That was like...the second day after release.

Afraid it can only be fast at corners... catching up with other boxed cars in a long straight isn't an easy job.

2nd that, not that good in pp races tho :(

Aston Martin Vantage V12. OK I expected it would be pretty good but it's a lot better than that, and the howl of the thing at full chat! The hairs on the back of my neck stand up every time.
