If you were going to make an all out focused and determined attempt to get into the top 25 of a TT, which track/car/tire type would pay the most dividends in improving your overall skill level?

I'm thinking that something like last month's Daytona Road TT with the '06 Viper on N1s, just simply because it takes so much finesse, and is so terribly difficult.

What do you think?

I think you won't get anywhere near the top 25 of any TT running N1's, you'll have to be on S2's to make even the top 100 of just about any of the different combinations

This.

I snuck N3s into 99th place not too long ago (some Lotus at Fuji GT) but that leaderboard wasn't well-attended by the usual groups of TT fillers. A quick switch to S2s and I was in the top 10 in three laps, further proof of a light field there.
About a year ago I stuck S1s into ~40th somewhere in a Mini, even that would be much more difficult now.
