(I searched for a thread like this, but it only came up with GT cars.)

Anyway...

What is your favorite vehicle? Car, truck, van, utility vehicle, army vehicles, any vehicle for any occasion.

I personally desire the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 1999

My dream car ever since my days as a toddler 10 years ago. I kept my eyes open to find one in the U.S.A., but a few years later, I found out the Skylines were only made across seas in Japan. But the R35s came to America either 2008 or 2009. I finally got a chance to see my car. At the Hagerstown Hamilton Nissan dealer. But I want to see the R34. Just need the money for a '99 R34 that its condition is just like new.

In terms of a whole package, it would have to be an unbreakable tie between the Honda NSX, the Nissan R34 Skyline GT-R and the E60 M5 (with the quintessential Meisterschaft exhaust).

Love the looks of it. Can go fast while at the same time haul a dishwasher. Could even tow a trailer if you built it up right. Plus, throw in a modern EFI engine with 6-speed transmission, and you could have plenty of power while having great mileage.

Lancia Delta S4 with the Martini livery and a Toivonen car. After that it's a tie between the SLR and Skylines, mostly R31, 32, 33, 34, 35, Ken and Mary, and the '69 GTR.

Honda NSX-R.

I've never actually driven one, I'm 16. But I've loved them ever since I saw one in one of the Gran Turismo games when I was in 2nd grade. Then I actually drove it in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and since then my love for them has grown a lot.. Tail happy, but not much; you can really control it. It's pretty fast and it looks really, really good in my opinion. Hopefully one day I will own one..

Along with one of these, too

A Ferrari would tie with the NSX.. Too bad I can't choose from any of all the Ferraris.

:D

I like fast saloons... And my favourite car would be the BMW M5 especially the E60.

2010-bmw-m5-pic-44137.png

Of course there are lots of other fast saloons like the E55, XF-R, RS6 and such but why a BMW M5? The reason is because of the rare high revving Naturally Aspirated V10 producing 507HP that growls like hell, really quick SMG and what's BMW popular for sheer driving pleasure.

I got to know this car 4 years ago from TV when Tiff Nedell from Fifth Gear made a review of it. He loves the car so much that I also fell in love with the car. The only first time I saw this car on the road was last year, imagine 4 years fell in love with this car and only last year I saw it on the road, travelling real fast on high way with an ''M5'' licence plate. My heart say that guy must be hardcore M5 fan/owner.

Unfortunately, the car is very rare in Malaysia because of its price at MYR899k. But honestly, this car is such a bargain to enjoy a V10 with extra 3 more seats at the back, a spacious boot, handles nearly like a Ferrari F430 as what Jeremy Clarkson said. That's BMW M5!

EDIT: Forgot.. My name says it all :p

'69 Corvette ZL-1. Almost 600hp in 1969, and only 2 produced.

Seen that somewhere before. Think its the one I used to make Jetboys avatar.

My top car would have to be '69 Camaro.
No pics needed. You know what it is.

How can you have a single favourite car? That's like having a favourite son/daughter.:D

There are many cars I like, that I 'want'.
I can pick a favourite car, but I could never pick a favorite from my daughters

Car is like a wife mate.. Surely you don't want to have a lot of favourite wife women eh?

Joking guys! 👍

Nice choice!

There where 3 ZL-1s produced according to Car and Driver (And Wikipedia where I read this). In a interview with Gib Hufstater (who?) he stated the engine produced 710 hp. That`s what Wikipedia says, I don`t know if it`s true. IF the car produced 710 hp it would probably be gross hp but that`s still a lot of grain mopeds (thats what we call horses around here).

My favorite cars are c2 Corvettes and 68 - 72 and 80 c3 Corvettes. The 81 and 82 Corvettes looks just as good as the 80, but they have ECMs and Crossfire (Crapfire, Ceasefire) injection for the 82. And I only like the coupes. If I had to chose one I`d pick a black 1967 Stinger (427 big block) with red interior and stripes and optional side exhaust. And a proper four speed gear box of course:tup:

Similar to this except for the interior:

Hmm...favorite vehicle? Car.

My no. 1 dream car since and during my childhood is...well, the 1995 Ferrari F50:

My father bought me a BBurago-branded 1:18 diecast model of this car (it's without the hardtop though) when I was about 4 years old, and well, since then, the Ferrari F50 have became my favorite car. It just...stayed in the heart. Well, of course, just like anyone, I loved a lot of other cars too, but not as much as this one. Sadly, my stupid, childish imagination went over the limit right on the day I received it, thinking on how fast this beauty could go, and so I put it on a children slide and watched it launched into the air. When it landed...it looked okay from far, when I got closer I noticed that the Ferrari badge under that rear spoiler almost got off, and seemed that the suspension for the front wheels broke as it just couldn't go properly anymore. :(

Most of the other parts of the model are still in good condition. The diecast model is now still sitting on a table in my bedroom, along with other toys.

I'm now 16, and the Ferrari F50 is still my favorite car and dream car...or is it?

Well not really, back then when I first learnt about how to use the Internet, I browsed about the F50 and other cars as well, and found an ultra-beasty, racing version of the car, that still retains the basic characteristic of the standard F50, although it's, uhh...less pretty. The Ferrari F50 GT!! I like the F50 GT better now.

Oh well, there are only three of them. And they aren't road-legal. Meh, how would I be able to get it anyway?

Same thing goes with a lot of other people with these kinds of dream cars...

Other cars that I loved since and during my childhood are...here:

This is a hard one... I dont think I have a "single" favorite car.... but a bunch of them... One that I admire most would be the McLaren F1. Next to that I also love Skyline GTRs... Doesnt matter if it's a R32, R33, R34 even an R31.... Or the old school late 60's - early 70's models... They all tickle my fancy! :p To many other cars to name though... :)

Ariel Atom.

It may look a bit odd, but it does so much with, really, so little. Plus the fact that it nearly ripped Jeremy Clarkson's face off. That's a nice addition. :p

As an affordable option, the NSX which is awesome in all ways, but as far as pure and irrational desire is concerned, there is one favourite by far:

The Porsche Carrera GT:

My favorite vehicle:

Ferrari Daytona:

I don't know why I picked it. I just woke up one day and decided that it was my favorite car.

But other than that:

2nd Generation Ford Ranger:

Honestly! This is one of the best trucks on the market! It does everything you need it to! It's sad that mine is off the road right now.:(

Vipers.
Ever since I learned about them on the 3DO version of Need For Speed I knew I needed that car. I plan on getting it one way or another.
The fact that I just barley fit into an '03 proves it was made for me.

My dad has a '68 Corvette convertible. That much power would probably snap the thing in half! :dopey:

As a child and still is, it'd be the first gen viper GTS. Hell, they're even starting to drop down in price to where they might be attainable for me in a few years!

I know! My point exactly!(or mostly )

A year ago, probably the Superbird, but now...

Oh, the shame of it! the shame!

C2 Chevrolet Corvette, there is one for sale with 5,000 miles around here, if I had $75,000 I would totally buy it.

Runner Ups:
Ferrari 360 Modena (In Silver)
Lamborghini Countach (In White)

Datsun 510, I'd take one over any other car out there. I just find them to be awesome for whatever reason. I've been looking for ages for one that isn't either overpriced or a rusted shell. The only car that I would consider buying over it for a project car is a Mini and it would have to be a pretty nice Mini for me to consider it.

datsun_510.jpg

OK well I can't just pick one, but the only other vehicle I love as much as the 510 is the GMC Typhoon. It's the coolest SUV ever made and is essentially the Skyline GT-R of the truck world. Turbocharged V6 with 280hp and AWD...yes please! It was faster then Ferrari's of it's day and that is just flat out epic. Plus it could carry you and your friends plus your crap.

I've got two.

Unrealistic: Koenigsegg CCX. I think it looks magnificent, it's absolutely crazy, and you can take the roof off. If I had one, I'd drive it to death.

Realistic: Toyota Corolla AE86. Why? I know Initial D makes a very good effort showing everyone how much of a game breaker that car is. Because it's totally possible to beat a tuned RX-7 if you've been delivering tofu for six years in one. But that's not why I like it. I am not some ignorant child that thinks that if I drive one, I'll become Keiichi Tsuchiya if I deliver tofu and also become faster than Michael Schumacher. I like it because it's a simple, reliable, relatively good looking, and best of all, light, RWD Japanese car from the 80's. That means I'll be able to have a very fun car to drive most of the time, with RWD and the lack of weight, but also a car I can count on and modify, because it's a Toyota. I could swap in any of a ridiculous number of engines, buy a ridiculous number of suspensions, and do god-like numbers of modifications.

Y'know...I kind of want to see an AE86 with a Tundra or Lexus V8 under the hood. Japanese Fox-body, if you will...

I think that brings me to a couple of my other favorites...my fave european, and it's distant relative.

ge-sierra-cosworth-rs500.jpg

Oh, lord, I think the BTCC '89 at Birmingham hooked me on this thing for life. I've loved Touring Cars since renting the first TOCA game, and this is one of the best. It's been up there on my list for a long time.

However, since they're hard to come by on this side of that large, ever-expanding body of water, I've started consider getting one of these...((with the 2.3, of course, so people don't complain about the 5.0))

1989_ford_mustang_lx_hatchback_front_side-02.JPG

and replacing the drivetrain with cosworth parts. and maybe trying to apply that cossie rear wing. Yes, I know about turbo kits for the 2.3, and the SVO. I know that'd probably be cheaper. But why be like anyone else, y'know?
