My feel good moment is when im feeling slightly cocky on the last corner on the Nurburgring GP track, and you let the back slide out and recover intime to pressure the AI out the way to win

When Bob loses. I make him lose, and it feels good. Mwahahahahaaa xD.

But seriously, best moment is when you're racing for your life on the FGT championship on Nurburgring GP with 2nd place about 0.3seconds behind you and you watch in awe as you see him spin out as he comes out of the corkscrew-like 2nd-to-last corner. Loved it!

My feel good moment is going to be in about 30 minutes time, when i finish my Le Mans A-spec 24 hour enduro :).

Been a fun day and a half actually, watching the Socceroos win 4 minutes from penalties against Iraq, and watching Arsenal demolish Wigan ... in my parking time :)

...and watching Arsenal demolish Wigan ... in my parking time :)

Thanks for that. I spend every Saturday avoiding match results to watch MOTD. Come on here expecting no mention at all of football and BAM!

On topic: I second the FGT. Finishing Suzuka in 8th to learn that, after winning every round except Monaco in which I retired, I've won the Championship by 40pts is a fist in the air moment, not an index finger into the camera *cough* a proper air punch.

Not my fault you're not smart enough to watch it live ;).

If it makes you feel better ..... Tottenham drew to Newcastle, West ham drew to Everton, Fulham beat Stoke, Man U demolished Birmingham, Liverpool beat Wolves and Sunderland beat Blackpool.

:)

Had an online race at Tsukuba in NSX LM's, second on the final lap with contact rules lifted, coming onto the backstretch, hooked the inside curb and slid up in front of the previous leader who gave me a bump draft and stuck to my bumper before pulling out to drag me to the line.

0.02 finish winning for me.

I felt pretty good.

Also, I have a race report thread but watching one of my b-spec drivers come from dead last during a super GT race at the halfway point to win was a feel good moment as well.

Online race yesterday on Trial Mountain. 3 laps of Trial Mountain in my RM Corvette. Fighting for the 3 whole laps with a german guy in a Toyota 7 then won after pressurising him into a mistake!

Coming from 15th place in three laps to win by 0.034 seconds ... Literally overtook him as we crossed the line! :P

So far, winning a kart race last night and beating my lap record on the last lap in the process.

Everything else is either hearty laughs with some quality drivers, or cursing the belligerent clods and buffoons.

Crossing the finish line at Deep Forest in the Historic Racing Cup in a Countach LP400 and seeing the 2J fan car in the rear view mirror was kind of cool. So was holding off the Enzo in the Ferrari event and eventually getting spun just before the finish line. I also felt pretty good after beating the stupid Top Gear Lotus event...by 0.003 seconds.

Go online. Qualify first in the grid of good racers. When the race starts pull off to the side and let all cars pass. Attack the grid with hot lapping pace. Somehow pull off the win.

Puts a smile on my face every time ;)

Also passing a guy right at the finish line of an online race. Doesn't happen that often but when it does, they sure get mad.

One of mine is when getting bumped on the Sarthe course so falling behind, cutting across that island and regaining my place, sometimes winning! The other cars follow the course and so have to slow for the corner- I can just cut across!

I love drifting while racing. I've found an amazing balance of 'drift-ability' and cornering potential. The car will handle as good or better than the next Gallardo (pronounced Gai-ardo! :dopey:) and will also drift amazing without losing much, if any (None in many cases) time through the corner. Same tires, same setup, 6:30's around Nordschlife. Some pics:

HUD off. Driving Line off. Nurburgring Nordschleife at 22:00. GT300 Wedssport Lexus.

Honestly, I feel awesome. To me it's the most realistic I can go, and doing a full lap of the Nord in this conditions is an achievement to me. I love the car's handling and I'd love the circuit even more if I knew how to drive around it properly.

Beating a Ferrari california on Nurburgring in an 98' Audi S4 :D, Close race, also had i race i lost by -00.018, lol so i had the faster time but finished second and that was between my Ruf RGT and an BMW M3 GTR at Tokyo Route 256.

It may seem lame to all here but...the other day I was trying for the 'falling object' trophy. I used one of the wrc cars, the red bull one I believe. Drove the snot out of it deliberately trying to crack it all up. I literally cooked the rear tires right off of it whipping donuts, busted up the front and rear fascia's, busted the rear hatch wide open, and....tore off the passenger door! Got the trophy! Happy happy, joy joy!:dopey:

Im sure there's a few other people that will agree with me that one of the best "feel good moments" is when your in one of the earlier races in a slow car racing for your life, on the last lap, in second place and your willing your car to have more speed when you overtake for first place within 2 seconds of the finish line. Feel good moment and a huge sigh of relief. 👍

My feel good moments in GT5?

Every single second I spend driving my Castrol Tom's #36 Supra on the Nordschleife. I feel even better whenever I can shave of a wee bit of time of my personal best :)

Mine was after being fed up rather quickly with GT5, I got pulled back in very unexpectedly. I just happened to stumble upon a Shelby GT350 in the UCD. I bought it.......this is what I can't explain, but I decided to rebuild the motor and chassis and paint it a Steve Mcqueen green. After that it really felt like mine. I took it online in a Japanese room, during free run the imports were drifting and parking in the grass as other drifted by. I pulled a perfect drift through the whole corner. The others then were treated to a great rolling burnout around the same corner. I only placed 3rd in the race, but its a great car, just sound like a weird V6 instead of V8.

A-Spec: Getting gold in all the FGT races on my first attempt at the championship was a great feeling as I went into it expecting to lose Monaco and the Nurburgring after a couple of test runs before starting the championship.

B-Spec: Winning the NASCAR Championship after a very tense race around Daytona having only managed to win 2 of the previous 4 races so I needed to place above two other drivers to guarantee the championship. (I've not tried FGT in B-Spec yet).

It always felt great completing the Seasonal Events when there was actually power limits and tire restrictions.

I still feel great completing them bone stock.

Just buy the car you need and go race.
That way it is still a chalenge and very good fun.

Where is this Nuremburg gp track?

I like spending 4 hours drifting on the Tsukuba endurance event.
