Do you consider yourself a fanboy, hand on heart? If so then of which kind?

I admit I'm myself a bit of a GT fanboy (Other category).

I don't consider myself a fanboy, but I am obviously biased towards SONY. I shifted from the NES, SNES and Gameboy to the Playstation brand and have never looked back.

Don't get me wrong, Nintendo consoles were superb back in the 90s, but in my opinion it all started going downhill starting with the 64, and even more apparent with the Cube. I grew up with Nintendo, have very fond memories of my childhood playing all those games and nothing will ever change how I feel for the first 3 consoles. I still play them to this day. The rest is a different story.

The Xbox I respect and concede that it is in some ways superior to the PS3, but in my opinion it's no match to the PS3.

The Wii... well, no comment.

Voted Sony.

Voted Sony. I loved older Nintendo consoles, but now they are just pathetic and childish in response of the XBOX360 and PS3. I grew up with GT, so I stuck with Sony, while I did drift away, I still came back to the PS.

Voted Sony and like many here I went from SNES to PS1, PS2, and I'm a proud owner of a 60GB PS3. I pretty much played Nintendo handhelds during my Sony phase and then quit when I got the PS3. I played on the Xbox but it was just not much to me since I already had all the games I wanted on the PS platform. My only interest on the console platform is just GT5 and little big planet 2(so slow that I have not even bought this yet).

Though I still run my SNES from time to time to play Top Gear(the music just makes you want to race).

I'm not a fanboy, i own and enjoy a bunch of consoles, though most of my gaming is done on the PC, the PC is a potentially far superior system on paper and i am not ignorant to that, not sure if it makes me a fanboy but i love arguing with clueless console fanboys. ^^.

No Gran Turismo on the PC though, which is an obvious weakness!

Not really a fan of sony, i just do not like micro$oft ( Linux/Unix/GPL guy here ).

Nitendo is great for my kids, sony just seems a bit grown up.

If sticking to the one brand of console constitutes being a 'fanboy' then I'd say Sega then Sony. First console was a Sega Master System, then a Megadrive, then it was a Sega Saturn and a PS1 at the same time. A Sega Dreamcast was next and a PS2 when it launched about a year later and Sony ever since.

My list is fairly similar minus the saturn and PS2. I was big PC nerd in the 90's lol. But after a modded playstion 1 I picked up an Xbox due to the online ability. I even had X-band on my Genesis.

I've never owned a PS2 but now have a 60GB PS3 and XBOX360. Still not a fan boy IMO. I still game on my PC. I use my PS3 for single player games and my 360 for anything online.

As much as I want to deny it, I am a sony fanboy..... PSX, PS2, PS3, Headphones ( 3 pairs), etc...

Better yet I'm a Hot Pursuit Fanboy... not Need for Speed though....
