What kind of games do you hope to see on Wii? Perhaps a reincarnation of an old franchise? Surely, more first-party titles from Nintendo! How about a series of great games that has eluded Nintendo consoles in the past?(though I wouldn't hold my breath for the likes of Gran Turismo or Halo :D).

I'm glad that Square/Enix is releasing a new "Dragon Quest" for Wii. Another game that would be really nice is a third version of "Pilotwings". I LOVED that game for the SNES(in my case, SFC), I still have it. 👍

I hope Nintendo loads it up with variety like they always have. Kiddy games like Mario, which unfortunately the only one that interested me in ages was Sunshine, but the kids love 'em.

Fun party games like Super Smash Bros. Fighting games, they're all pretty good. Smashing first person shooters, everything from Virtua Cop (with gun, thank you, though I know you don't need one) to Half Life and Battlefield. Flight sims with a flight stick. More Resident Evil!! And hopefully some great racing games. I'd like to see Sega make a Gran Turismo-like game in the Sega GT/Sega Rally franchise with an outstanding career mode. Even if it was a little arcady, their racing games are a blast to play.

Soul Calibur 4. That'd be so awesome (and tiring) with the Wii-mote.

Too bad Soul Caliber 3 is a waste of plastic. I somehow doubt that Soul Caliber 4 will be any fun to play.

Soul Caliber 2 was so much better than SC3, it's not even funny....although I must admit, SC3 is still a thousand times better than Tekken.

An updated version of Tekken would be nice. I'd also like to see an HD version of Duck Hunt just for kicks. Also, a version of Tetris that allows you to see the blocks falling from any angle using the Wii-mote.
Let's see...Metal Gear should definitely be another title available for the Wii. Especially since you have more in-depth controls. Imagine being able to have full control over Snake - wild, eh? You could even get a thorough workout playing the game.
Since Metroid is already slated, I think it's time for an updated version of Mega Man. Keep it as a 2D side-scroller, but I'm sure the Wii controller could boost replay value on something like that.
And, since I'm on a roll here, Contra should be given a BIG update for the Wii, and maybe even toy around with 3d perspective. RC Pro Am should make a comeback. Full immersion into the track with the Wii-mote would make that game LOTSA fun! Maybe even a few old Dreamcast titles? Just food for thought.

I'm sure the optical sensor would allow real-world crouching, lying prone, etc. to be recreated in the game.

Imagine lying on your living room/bedroom floor, staring up at the TV, waiting for a guard to walk by so that you can crawl out of the vent that you've been waiting in.

Interesting ideas, but I like the "Duck Hunt" the best. That would be a very interesting remake for sure. 👍

And then someone to walk into the room, take one look at you and shake their heads going, "What an ass". :ouch::lol:

Criminey yes! We need more 2D side scrolling platform adventure games, and the Wii would be a great home for them.

Someone at Nintendo MUST work on a Duck-Hunt 2006. That was easily the best game on NES, bar none (lol).

A Pilotwings sequel is in order, and I'd like to see something like Top Gear make a comeback as well...

My most anticipated possibility: Star Wars Jedi Knights... Yeah, lightsaber duels with the Wii remote!!! TEH SEX/ROXORZ!!!!!1!1!!!!!!1!

I’m unsure if the scope has been mentioned, though if not, here are some hardware pics for those awaiting Duck Hunt.

I'm easy to please. I still haven't bought a "normal" combat-style FPS for my PS2 or Gamecube because I absolutely hate trying to aim shots with a joystick. Give me a fun Call Of Duty, Splinter Cell, or Ghost Recon type of game (and I might finally buy a bigger TV, too).

RC Pro Am and Starfox like others mentioned as well as Double Dragon :) Remember the flagship fighting series in the late 80's? I sure do, but what happened? Its time for another installment imo. I'd also love them to make another Punch Out too.

Pilot Wings has been mentioned, then of course Mario Kart, Wave Race, F-Zero...

Ummm, what about Silent Hill? You could play it just like in the arcades!

House of the dead!:D

How about some sort of simulation racing game (fictional F1 or something like racing simulation3) where it inco-operates pit stops into the wii mote use:p e.g. using the wii mote to do fuel tryes, jack the car and so on..
