It's a Game table. I saw it at Showcase (the As seen on TV).

The concept of it was soccer, but instead of using rods and figures to kick the ball, each side has a series of evenly spaces holes which lead to their own ramp down to the playing surface. What you do is you drop these ball bearings (small pinballs almost), in these holes so they roll down this curved ramp on to the playing surface trying to hit the ball (thats already on the surface) to score on ther other side's net. So essentially these ball bearings act as the kicking of the ball.

but anyway i was interested in learning a bit more aobut these tables, what are they called?

Sounds like Crossfire, which was an awesome game.

After googling Crossfire, the concepts of it is actual the same,

so thats Cross fire

and this is more or less what the table looks like, quick added shapes on PS, look on the left side, a series of holes where the balls go in, down these canal curved ramps which guide the pinballs on a straight path down the surface kicking a soccer ball around to score a goal.

i didnt illustrate all the canals or the other side simply because i'm currently busy
