What logic is behind these lap numbers?

Well, I decided to take on the F1 Championship and its going well, but, who came up with these race numbers? Like, on Cote d'Azur I've noticed there are always more laps than the other tracks in the series, which makes no sence to me cuz its even though it's shorter than most tracks, its a pain in the butt. Yeah Cote d'Azur is a fun track to some degree, but they got ya racing 78 laps in the F1 Championship... which, if I'm not mistaken, is the same as the Cote d'Azur Enduro.... Why? 👎 All together on the 78 lap race it ends up being 162.xxx miles (dunno the exact number) which makes it the logest in that series, beating the Test Course bit by 2 miles and the rest by a lot more than just 2...

Well that would make some bit of sence, even though it still is an incredibly long race.. anyway... what about the rest of the time? Like the Clio Cup. Every race except Cote d'Azur is 10 laps, but it is 15. Now I know that Cote d'Azur is a shorter track, but still, adding 5 more laps makes the total more.

I think the old Cote d'Azur is the only one that's ever longer.. dunno for sure.. havn't done much as far as pro league. The other leagues ended up having all the same with all the races even the last one. *shrugs* I'm just.. annoyed at it LoL..

I like the Monaco 78lapper in the FGT series, matter of fact its my favorite race of all. Because its a real life race distance for once. None of the 20 and under lap races.

thats the exact reason why there is more laps on that track, because its smaller, they add more laps, they only crap thing about it is that its very tight which makes the race go longer, still i like racing around that track, its fun!

I always noticed that most of the early series finished with this track. Every track before the final was 5 laps or 10 laps depending on the league you're playing on, but Monaco would always be 10 and 15 laps depending on the league.

I don't recall the cars in the real F1 race pitting every 7 laps tho' :yuck:

Monaco is my favorite course. It's so insane it has to be good. I like 78 laps of it, you end up doing perfect laps because it is so ingrained into you.

Same here. 78 laps goes pretty quick for me on that course because I always find myself wanting to go that little bit faster each lap.

Monaco may be sut up like the acual race in real life with 78 laps but the competition is nothing in comparison ..... in the F1gt seriers its as if ur in the ferrari as M.Shumacher and everyone else is in the manardi as Z.Baumgardener. Its really boring after tons of laps cuz ur just on the course driving round and round and round waiting for the 2 good laps u get after every pit and then u wait 3 laps after those 2 good laps to pit again ...in other words, its boring and its pointless unless u really love the track that much.

in that race, i gave them a few laps head start and then catch up, i kno i have to catch up to them so i have something to do, so i push my self and do the best laps i can, it can be sorta challenging, its betta then sitting laps in front of the others.
