Over the weekend, I bought these(all used):

"Traffic" - with Benicio Del Toro, Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones, etc.
"Son of the Pink Panther" - with Roberto Benigni
"Critters" - a B-Movie from when I was a kid.

New copies I bought couple of weeks ago:
"Grand Prix" - 1966(first issue on DVD!), starring James Garner.
"Event Horizon" - This is the new one, widescreen enhanced and with extra features.

I was about to answer "none", until I realized that I was thinking in terms of new releases.

I went to Blockbuster the other day, and in addition to the rentals, I also picked up War of the Worlds and Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. They were on sale.

No new releases until the big summer movies start hitting. And by then, maybe I'll be done with DVD. After all, I'll have a Blu-Ray player in November. :)

The Simpsons - Complete Sixth Season

When I'm done, I'm off to the 7th season.

Most recent DVD purchases were...

Firefly: season 1
Serenity
Charlie and the chocolate factory: 2 disk special edition - the new one
And I've ordered 24: season 5 for £30.

Before that I got...
The Jack Ryan collection:
- Hunt for Red October
- Clear and present danger
- Patriot games
- and The sum of all fears
Gladiator: 3 disk special edition
Spiderman 1 & 2: 4 disk box set
Pirates of the carribean: The lost disk - 3 disk box set
War of the worlds - Tom Cruise one: 2 disk special edition
K-19: The widdowmaker
And Master and commander: 2 disk special edition.

I buy between 5 and 15 DVD's and games a month. I buy 90% more DVD's than games though, only maybe 1 game every 2 months, occasionally (like when GT4 and MGS4 came out at the same time) I'd buy 2 games in one go.

live4speed: I finally got all 4 of the "Jack Ryan" series as well. "Patriot Games" was the last one I got(just month or two ago). I didn't like it when the movie first came out, and I was just a kid(with very limited English :D). On my second viewing, I enjoyed it very much. It also helped that I really like Sean Bean now as well. "Clear and Present Danger" is still my favorite.

Sheesh, you guys buy DVDs like they're candy. I think I might've bought 5 DVDs in the past year.
You are right. I stopped buying for while, but ones I wanted for long time, or newer ones that I really liked, I just can't help it. I mostly buy used now though. My collection gets so big, every once in a while, I have to sell some that I don't watch. Keep it from going over five hundered or something. :D

The last DVD's i purchased were,

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Transformers 20th Anniversary 15 DVD Box set

That was some time ago though i must admit, probably knocking on the door of 8 months

Spec....

Last DVD's I got were Steamboy and Red Dwarf Series 8, thats was a while ago, is used to buy dvds like they were going out of fassion but now with being low in the money department I haven bought any for a while.

I just picked up Pinky and the Brain Volume 1. :D
Hence my new avatar.

The last movie before that was 6+ months ago.

I've just boutgh 6 films for £25.

LA confidential
Tombstone
Top Gun & Days Of Thunder 2 disk box
The Manchurian Candidate
Spartan
Munich
The Inside man
Thirteen days
Wyatt Earp

EDITED, just bought a 6th film too.

Edited again, I've just bought a 7th, 8th and 9th DVD..

That's my first half of August collection update done .

I burned out my VHS of Tombstone so my wife bought the DVD 2 years ago.

 It's more a case of one that got away with me, I've just never picked it up until now, same goes for Wyatt Earp, though I do have them both on VHS somewhere, recorded off the TV though. Thirteen days is a film I wanted to see a long time ago but I've never got round to seeing it, it's supposed to be great and I think Kevin Costner is good actor. Which remids me, I still don't have Dances with Wolves, that's one for my next DVD shop. There's so many great films left for me to buy but sometimes I'm too busy updating the collection with newer releases.

Who'd have thought, my next DVD shop would have been less than 24 hours later . Today I've orderd 3 DVD's.

Ali - Two Disc Set
Unforgiven - 10th Anniversary Edition
Dances with Wolves - Three Disc Special Edition

They were 2nd hand. I get loads of my DVDs from Cash Converters. There all £3 each or 2 for £5. Regardless of quality, new or old. I got hundreds of bargains in there.
I even got OC season 1 for £7! Yet Alias season 1 was £20! lol, they don't have a clue.

I got Serenity for £2 today!!!

Dances with Wolves - Three Disc Special Edition

I got this boxed set about a year ago for £10 from HMV and its one of the best set to get, the film is great, but very long and the extras are ok too 👍

I think the "Dances With Wolves" I had was a 2-Disc, but I sold it. :dopey: A lot of people liked it, and heard it was good, but I wasn't too impressed. "Unforgiven", I have that one that I bought couple of years ago, but I still haven't watched that DVD(I have seen the movie before). :D Ali, I haven't seen. Maybe I should rent it.

I ordered L.A. Confidential, Memento and The Godfather yesterday, so they should come soon. I'll look forward to watching those again.

It's a long film, I've seen it a couple of times before and I like it but I'm also a Kevin Costner fan so there you go. Unforgiven is pure class when it comes to making a great movie, it's right up there with the best films made imo and I like Clint Eastwood directiing. I've not seen Thirteen days yet but a mate of mine who has what I consider a good taste in movies, thinks that's one of the better films made, so I'm looking forwards to watching that. He also reccomended a film called quiz show which I haven't seen at all before, so I'll be getting that when I shop again (no that won't be tomorrow).

I got three new DVD's today. I havent seen any of them yet at the cinema or rental, but ive heard good things and they are the types of movies I enjoy.

1. A History Of Violence
2. Broken Flowers
3. Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang

All have had great reviews from movie critics I respect so they should be good, just hope so :D

Have you seen L.A. Confidential yet? It's one of those movies that keeps you guessing and has a very strong cast. One of my all-time favourites. :)

Yeah I've seen it loads of times, just didn't have it on DVD.

Today I ordered...

No way out
and Quiz show

Big film fan like yourself didn't have Bourne Identity in your library? :D One of the best action film of all-time in my book. It was a hit, and I still think it's underrated!
