WHAT?!! no prizecar?!!!

First of all,....Hi!

Ive been going crazy because of the next problem i encountered while playing GT3:

After finishing a race cup/series like for instance the 'profesional - TVR' series i did not get a prize car! Yes you heard me right NO prize car!

It happened before in other series but i was not sure of myself (too much beer?)so i started a whole new challenge (TVR-series) and after winning all races there was NO prizecar. Did i do something wrong (what could one do wrong)??

I raced all tracks, and won all of them. I did not select 'series' but entered each race separatly. But this has never been a problem before, not in GT1, GT2 or GT3 so i cant imagine this that that's the problem. (i never select 'series' and allways race the different tracks in my own preferred order)

Can anyone please explain to me what is going on?
Is this a known issue??!!

I'm not having fun playing this game any more this way, racing all tracks, winning all,...anticipating some kind of cool car and then,...NOTHING,..just money!
 
To be completly clear:

One must complete a cupe by entering the series? Winning each race seperatly does not get you a car?

Hmmm... i find it hard to believe that all the cars i did win i won by playing via the series entrance of a cup

Are you absolutly sure?? Ive not read anything about this anywhere on the web.

And what happens if u dont win all the races in the first try? Do you have to play them all...all over again?
 
This is true. You must enter the series. There is a "point" system that awards you a certain number of points based on your position in the race. Whoever has the most points at the end of the series wins the series and gets one of the prize cars.

Another thing. In some events (mostly amateur) the little circles wich show the medals u get for each race are simply round,..in others (like the TVR event) they are round with an arrow pointing to the next circle/race. Does this have anything to do with this?!
 
Yep, that appears when it's a series race, if it's not a series race you just do each race individually. Theres an extra circle as well before the ones for each race, that is what you must get gold to win the prize car, you need to win the series itself and not ever race in the series. Also you wion a new car each time you do a series not just once like the single races.
 
The "Cups" are three individual races. They can be run at any time, individually. Once you win the 3rd race, you will get a prize car - ONCE.

The Series are all 5 or more races, and you have to win the Series, not just the individuals. BUT you will win a prize car every time you win the Series.
 
The first circle marked "series" is the only one you must gold to win the prize car. You don't have to gold every race in the series, as long as you have more points than any other opponent, but I gold all of them anyway since you do need to do that in order to reach 100% complete.
