In this modern age of DLC it seems obvious, so obvious to me, the path that PD should've taken. In my opinion, the reason GT5 feels so incomplete is that it tries to be all things to all people. This really could've been 3 games easily. One for regular old GT fans, one for drift fans and one for NASCAR fans. I'd say one for Rally fans but we all know Dirt is way better at that than GT. Anyhoo, I think they should've left NASCAR and drifting out of the retail version of the game, maybe even rally as well just to free up more space on the disc for tracks and premium cars. Then they could've offered the other styles of racing later for a nominal fee. That wouldve taken the pressure off trying to get everything done by launch date and maybe the game would feel more complete. I don't know about the rest of you guys but I personally wouldve had no problem shelling out $60 for a prettier version of GT4. I never got tired of that game. The only reason I stopped playing it was because it looked like crap when I upgraded to HD. I care nothing for NASCAR or drifting but I'd pay $5 or $10 for the extra cars and tracks a couple of months later if I got bored playing regular GT.
