I know some of us don't have the game yet but I am curious how far the rest of you are in GT4?

Off topic: Do you already know when GT4 is finnaly released, the bol.com site says 28 february 2005, others say it will be changed to 11 mrach 2005
 
I'm at 48%, got the game Dec 31, relying heavily on B-Spec for endurances though, I have some 11,000 miles there. Right now I'm running the 300km Grand Valley endurance to rack up money for day 694 (black cars).
 
22%, and a ton of gameplay time. I spend a lot of time with specific cars tuning etc. Since Preludes are in GT4 I own 4 of them, and that's only 4th Gens, lol, I own two Type-S 5th Gen Preludes, all tuned for different styles of drivings and tracks (and each with different settings, since there are 3 per car). It's a blast. Total in my garage I have rougly 50+ cars already, I buy a lot, lol.

Can't say how many hours I've got...because it's countless, haha.

On that particular day, the test version of the Le Mans cars appear on the used car lot (Toyota GT1, Mazda 787, Nissan, etc). These cars are all finished in naked carbon fiber (black), and are not available anywhere else in the game. Search for "secret cars", and you´ll find plenty of info about it.
 
Explanation for day 694 follows, it's a bit of a spoiler so don't read it if you want to find out yourself.

On day 694 in the Used cars lot B you find black 'test' versions of four racing cars, namely the R390, 787B, Gt One and R92CP.

They are only there for a week (until day 701) and carry a combined price tag of nearly 800,000,000 Cr (Jpn version), thus the need to stack up money. I'm at day 650 in the game.

I've just started into the special conditions hall. Seems to be a place to make some easy cash and win some cool cars. You can get 20,000 cr. (chinese vers) for 5 laps at Tskuba in the rain...against a 787b 💡
 
Guys, is there any point to having all wins (gold cup icons) in a given hall or that doesn't affect completion percentage nor gives any prize car?

I have a couple of silvers here and there and I was wondering if I should bother redoing those racers to win them.

24.9%, just before the endurances are unlocked. Have about 75 cars from buying used cars all the time :D

I mean: why buy the "strange"version at all? just buy the same car, only then sprayed!, and yes you can give every car an new look just like in NFSU 2
