What Playstation 1 titles have you downloaded of PSN?

Sorry if this is supposed to be in the Official PSN thread, but I looked at the last few pages, and it seems to be mainly talking about updates...

I, so far, have bought: Driver; Motorhead; and Demolition Derby.

The best value was Driver, as it is a true classic, and features the most in depth game... Next is motorhead, as it is OK, but not on the standard of Driver... Destruction Derby was not good value at all, I have the PS1 game, but it is a copied disc a friend gave me when throwing away all his PS1 stuff, thus I can't play it in the ps3...

I was wandering if anyone knows whether there are plans to release some of the better car games such as:

Obviously Gran Turismo (1&2)
Driver 2
Destruction Derby Raw ------ I had the origional disc, but it has gotten either lost or thrown away... i loved that game...
C3: Car Constructor Championship
Vanishing Point
Carmageddon --- Loved that game as a kid... Gave me nightmares every night...


And so on.

I e-mailed the US Playstation website, as I couldn't find an email address for the EU one, and I got a reply basically saying that the can't tell me.

As I am buying a PSP with the 3.71m33 firmware, I will be able to play downloaded games, but I would still like some of the better car games to be released on PSN, so I don't have to find out a scratched disc every time I want to play an old game... For example, I dug out Driver 2 today, and the scratches on the disc really impair the gameplay, because when on foot, the screen really breaks down and it is just lots of plain white blocks everywhere, and it gets really annoying. To solve it, you have to either look lft, right or behind, but it goes back agin to the bad picture after about 45 seconds...






I thought if we could get a petition, with a poll to show how much we want these games, we might get somewhere... I figure its worth a try.

You could rip the iso and play them in a ps1 emulator. Its not illegal since you already own the games.

True, but I want to be able to play the on the PS3, off the HDD...

Also, to play the official downloads on the PSP...

I've bought Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, and 3. 2's the best imo.

Yeah, G-Police was awesome. Have the original somewhere.

I've downloaded Driver and Destruction Derby. Driver was cheap to purchase and with the download I don't have to search for the disc anymore

I'd store that disc so you don't end up breaking or losing it. I have not downloaded a ps1 game on the PSN as my games are still in good condition.

I havent downloaded any from the store as most of the games aviable isent somethign I am interested with. However i recently bought Final fantasy 7 from Ebay, and having a blast with it now.

It is really a shame that they dont put some of the real classic PS 1 games on the store instead of that garbage they put up so far.

Final fantasy 7-9
Xenogears and a few other good RPG's
Metal gear solid 1
Resident evil
Tomb raider

And few other of this caliber...

Maybe they wont put them up because they are afraid if we had such good games aviable for cheap we wouldent buy all those crap games they make nowadays.
