What Racing Games Represent for you ? And GT4 ?

Hi all,

I'm new here but I follow the forum since a long time now...

Just a simple question :

What does GT represent for you ... ? ( only game, driving in a way you normaly can't, .... ???)

It is a simple question but it's what I would like to share... what is behind your impatience and why are you reading this ?????

For me GT is the best up to now and I'm not the only one here...

Can't wait to drive on live !!! with the weel...

hm, what it represent.. i dont have a licence yet so thats 1 :)
(will having it in a month or 2 :P ) i played always racinggames on Pc, but when i saw gran turismo i was sold. :) i never played again on the Pc, so its like an workstation now. The more i play Gt-series (i play gt3 and gt4p) the more i love it, i was like very overwhelmd by the "enduro's" "license tests" etc.. i play when i can.. like 20hrs a week, and if i have time in the weekend i play alot, +20 :odd:
its the whole atmosphere in the game, the wind, speed, car(s)classes, realism, possibilities, tuning, set-up, and so on.
i just love it :)
edit; i played (on pc) -> Nascar 2002, Nfs5 +6, Sportscar Gt, Rally Trophy, Street Legal, F12002(with Lm mod)
and now i play (Ps2) Gran Turismo 3 and 4(Prologue)
i've never found a game greater/better as the Gt series, they are the best!

To drive hundreds of cars I never would otherwise & race em around circuits & lead a virtual racing career I guess :)

Will have to try taking my 70Bhp beast (:lol: ) to a track day sometime :D

This game represent for me hundreds of hours gameplay, and it's the only game I keep returning to again and again and again. :D
 
ulimited entertainment, fine-tuning your car to get the best performaces and beat the trackrecord. Being able to posses hundreds of cars :D

GT isn't just a game, IT'S A WAY OF LIFE :cool:

I've liked and and been playing racing games for as long as i can remember, from Pole Position, Pit Stop & Buggy Boy on to the games on PSX 1 & 2 and PC.

Wah tI love about the GT series is it has a loit of cars, some you'd only see on a racetrack in RL, some you might actually own yourself.

Playing a GT game is like owning a "drivers" car, you do it for the feeling.
 
To be honest, but at first, I didn't really get into Gran Turismo because I had a Nintendo 64. I thought Gran Turismo would be a run-off-the-mill game. But my was I impressed when I bought my PS1 from a Pawn Shop. GT was the first game I ever got for the system. And since it was a Greatest Hit at the time, it backed me up about under 20 bucks. Since then, I don't know if it was the realism, the cars, the tracks, or what got me into Gran Turismo. What I knew was that I was slowly getting into racing, GT was on my mind, and I had to get it.

Since then, I beat GT1, rediscovering GT2, playing GT3 to imagine GT4. And when GT4 rolls around, I'll be sure to get it whenever I have enough money and time on my hands.
