What software are you using?

Hi, what software do you use, i thought i'd write this, as it seems i am the only one this side of the universe using Microsoft Picture it! Publishing 2001. I think under the skin it's the same as photodraw, as i have used photodraw too and found it remarkably similar.
What do you use?
Is it worth buying?
I need new software!

Photo editing software, sorry!
 
For photo editing, I pick from this list:
Adobe Photoshop (version 5.5 onwards)
Macromedia Fireworks (as long as it's only for levels/curves)
The GIMP - good, rediculously powerful, and FREE
Microsoft Digital Image Suite - decent enough if you're a newbie. I use it mostly because it's awesome for panoramic shots

For basic photo editing, the GIMP does everything Photoshop can and it's free! It's especially good if you don't expect it to behave exactly like Photoshop.
