Recommend I d/l ?

Playlist is wearing thin, and I need some new music to listen to, if you could recommend just 1 song what would it be and why ? tell me what's so good about it .

I like a lot of genres but prefer alternative rock more than anything but I'm open to suggestion.

Don't want no heavy metal crap or hard rock, I want something that's easy on the ears with good guitar melody/lyrics.
I'm hoping to find some really great songs with your help. There's a lot of bands out there I haven't even listened to yet but don't know where to start.

So ...anyone know a good song or not?
 
I like Linkin Park's "With You" because it has good lyrics with a little bit of rap thrown in there too. I also like Trust Company's "Downfall". Great lyrics there too.

The 'Foo Fighters' is always going to be a good choice. You might want to try the 'Sneaker Pimps' Just the first album though 'Becoming X' of which i would strongly reccomend 'six underground'. If you have any old school punk tendancies then I'd give 'The Damned' a go, songs like 'neat neat neat' and 'new rose' or 'smash it up'. 'Portishead' are another good band. Hard to know what to suggest without seeing your playlists....
 
hmm... Only foo fighters tune I know I like is ' times like these' what else is good of theirs?

I've heard that 'six underground'it's ok but not really my cup of tea :)

If you like good guitar see if you can find anything by Monte Montgomery. He isn't that famous yet but he is the "SRV" of the Acoustic Guitar.

If your a Zepplin Fan,... I recommend finding TOOL's cover of "No Quarter".

Ok listened to few of the mentioned tracks ...

Foo Fighters - My hero ( went for your personal favourite slip ;) )
not a bad track, I can see it growing on me the more I listen :)

Trust company - downfall : pretty good viper zero I like! :cool:

Tool - No quarter : Like the sound they got going there, was a really nice opening, got a bit repetetive about half way but over all good sounds there, I like :) 👍 only listened to it once so far mind you ;) any of their own material thats worth a listen Brian?

Linkin Park - Somewhere I Belong : yep good tune also :D
