I do not own GT5 or a ps3 at the moment, but maybe sometime before the end of the month I will be playing it. I just found out about GT5 XL edition which includes the downloadable content up to spec 2.0. If anyone could tell me where the game is currently at and how much money it will cost to update from 2.0 I would really appreciate it, thanks!

The Updates are free, we're on about 2.7 I think. But there has been another couple of DLCs since 2.0, which would cost a bit to buy all of them.

what do you mean they're free but they would cost a bit to buy?

The updates are free. It costs nothing to update from. 2.0 or at all.

You can buy DLC (new cars/tracks) for a bit of money, though.

I did the same thing, if you don't get Motegi it's around $10-12US. I didn't get the Jag/ Aston/ Lambo car pack, or speed test. I think there's one or two more.
