What sub should I get for my home theater

I use my setup for games more then anything, but I really want a musical sub.
I really don't want to spend more then 500-600$ on it. I could even go with 2 cheaper subs if possible to get better performance. I plan on adding up to 4 of whatever I buy to my system throughout the years. I want it to go as low as 25hz.

Any advice would be great.

Have you looked at these? They are a bit pricey but they can go down to 13hz & will make you think that your house is falling down

I ended up going with the SVS pb 13 ultra. I'm not disappointed in the least bit. It's louder then I ever thought 1 sub could be. Windows rattle, and the floor shakes. If I'm not setting on the couch, it will literally move it across the floor.

Fair enough, enjoy those low frequencies but beware of the dreaded "brown noise" phenomenon

I didn't know what brown noise was so I googled it. My stomach does get upset from sub 20hz test tones sometimes, but I have yet to have to change my pants. Thanks for the warning though, I'll be sure to keep an extra pair of underwear handy just in case.
