i was looking through the list of cars from gt3 as im going to try and get them all. however some of the cars i havent seen before:

-dasin silvia GT
-subaru impreza premium sport coupe 22B-Sti Version
-opel speedster(seen in a race but havent seen where to win it)
-nissan Z Detroit Motor Show Model
-mazda roadster
-mazda eunos roadster
-mazda Demio Gl-X
-daihatsu storia X4

anyone know where to find these?

where on earth did you get this list?!?!?!?!

Daisin Silvia GT - doesn't exist.. this is a GT2 car (why has this come up twice now?)
Subaru Impreza premium sports coupe 22B - buy it from the subaru lot!
Opel Speedster - buy it from the opel lot...:odd:
Nissan Z detroit show model - win it from GT World Championship in Amateur
Mazda Roadster - the mazda roadster is the Miata:p
Mazda Eunos Roadster - again, the miata (japanese call it the Eunos)
Mazda Demio GL-X - Not in GT3 (AGAIN this is a GT2 car...hhmm)
Diahatsu Storia X4 - Nada, doesn't exist (once again...GT2)

I'm starting to think that whatever list your reading was very poorly compiled.......i don't beleive its a GT2 list, because it has the Nissan Z and Opel Speedster, maybe whoever made the list was high?

Actually, the Storia is available in GT3, and I think the Demio is too.

hah probably, go onto the gtplanet main website and click on car list on the GT3 section. it gives you this list. btw, in my version, (PAL, from new zealand so i dunno wat other countries are the same) we dont have an opel lot, we only have vauxhall(sp?).

yea ive looked through the prize cars and havent found any.. ah well.. think theres sumthing wrong with me tonight, must just be looking straight over them.

DOH i forgot you could buy the storia....oh and the demio? im not quite sure i'll havta check (those are the cars that are easily forgotten, no use for them at all) the Opel Speedster is the same as the VX220....so you didn't get ripped off or nuthin

ok i just checked the car list on the GTP main page...and the Daisin Silvia GT is INDEED listed at the bottom of the list....who made this list? i've heard plenty about the hidden cars like the Skyline M-Spec, the Porsche, the Rollbar Miata ETC. but i'm 99.9% sure ive never heard or seen ANYTHING about a Daisin Silvia being in GT3 (although id love it if it was!):D

huh, if its the same as the VX220 then how come in a race in beginners mode it said one of the cars was a speedster?

i think my game must be screwed, like considering there is no lexus's in GT3 and when i look at the list of cars i can use for the altezza races it says: altezza RS200, Lexus IS, altezza LM race car.

heh actually take a look in the Toyota lot....the Lexus IS is in there, Toyota and Lexus are like brother and sister companies ya know? like plymouth and dodge.....

I thought Lexus was a luxury subdivision of Toyota. Much like Acura is to Honda.

yea it is... i looked all through the toyota lot and the lexus isnt there... theres just the two altezzas, the RS200 and the AS200, the damned altezza race doesnt even say you can use the AS200 though it just says Lexus IS.

whoa...and your on PAL? that's nuts....so many things they forgot to edit or correct

(oh and about lexus...that's what i meant...brother sister type thing....the dodge plymouth part was wrong though i was just in a hurry)

yea, or its just my disk... like in endurance, the grand valley one, you know where it says the names of the track?.. it looks as though the words are trying to jump into the damn track  . theyre like so far up that the top half is cut off....

not to Auto__1:
when in the vicinity of a computer/games store, grab new copy gran turismo 3....

nah... its like a year old... my first game that i got... quite a trend going on.. when i bought my psx i bought gt1 at the same time. then when i bought a ps2 i got gt3 at the same time... when i get a ps3 ill prob get gt5 at the same time.

Auto__1, there are a number of cars in the game that have different names depending on the version because they have different names in real life in various markets.

NTSC PAL
Opel Speedster = Vauxhall VX220
Toyota Vitz = Toyota Yaris
Toyota Altezza = Lexus 200
Mazda Miata = Mazda MX-5 (and Mazda Eunos in the Japanese version)
All Opels = Vauxhall

There are a few instances in the game where the names haven't been totally cleaned up for that version.

Auto 1, don't worry about that endurance thingo...it happened on myn too...at least it doesn't effect the gameplay :)

And not forgetting:

Daihatsu Storia = Daihatsu Sirion
Daihatsu Mira = Daihatsu Cuore

AS200? do you mean is200? just use the LM altezza in the altezza race..makes life much better...

-dasin silvia GT (in PAL is replaced with C-West Razo Silvia)
-subaru impreza premium sport coupe 22B-Sti Version (Car dealer)
-opel speedster(seen in a race but havent seen where to win it) (Vauxhall vx220)
-nissan Z Detroit Motor Show Model (Nissan Z Concept)
-mazda roadster (MX5)
-mazda eunos roadster (MX5)
-mazda Demio Gl-X (car dealer)
-daihatsu storia X4 (Sirion)

As has been said in some places the names have not been totally cleaned up so you may see an Opel Speedster whereas when you buy it it is a Vauxhall VX220.

One or both of the Altezzas are called Lexus overseas.

As far as I am aware the PAL version does not miss out on anything other than the F1s and some of the hidden cars otherwise the cars are there just called something else.

the Dasin Silvia you mentioned...does anyone remember the Datsun Car company of Japan?...i havent seen the original list that people are referring to but Datsun were incorporated into Nissan in the 80's and occasionally you still seen a new Datsun on the streets that just a modern Nissan with a different badge in the front...just like Lexus IS200 and the Toyota Altezza...vitually identical cars, my work collegue has an IS200(and won't let anyone else drive it :irked:)...

just wondering if the Dasin Silvia is actually the Dastun(Nissan) Sylvia incarnation..

click this link for a pic of the Datsun Sylvia..

cool car....look familiar?

??

I thought Datsun was the name under wich Nissan started exporting cars?

They didn't know how well they would fare in America and Europe so they opted to use a different name on their cars. That way, if they wouldn't sell, they could always analyze the data as rto why not and try again later, without damaging their comapanies name.

Yea, youre probably right...i don't know the details of the Datsun/Nissan connection except that they are the same cars branded differently...

i am old enough to remember when there was no such maker as Nissan in the UK (dont know about the rest of the west, i am speaking only as a UK resident) but there were Datsuns everywhere...my dad owned a Datsun Sunny for a short while in the 70's...then they became known as a Datsun-Nissan in the UK then just simply Nissan....thats why if you see a brand new 2003 Datsun driving round the UK..its a wierd sight coz they dissapeared for 20 years then just came back...

thanks for filling in the details though...

point i was making was that the Dasin car previously mentioned might be Datsun since the Silvia, or more correctly Sylvia, is a Datsun/Nissan car and used to be quite common here in the 80's/90's...

Nah, the Daisin Silvia was in GT2 and it's a Nissan alright. Basicaly the same as the C-West one in GT3.

The Daisin was one of the finestr rides in GT2, very easy on handling, had some good 2p battles in it.

Dunno who's saying it's in GT3 but then again I've only just starting checking car prize lists.

Technically it's "Daishin" Silvia. It's in the same mould as Xanavi Silvia, ARTA NSX, Kure Skyline, C-West Silvia, Pennzoil Skyline - you get the point. Merely a sponsor name.

We had a D-reg Datsun Sunny Coupe 1.6, oddly... :D
