It's time to upgrade my laptop.
The specs I want:
Screen size 15.6"
Intel i5 or i7 processor, preferably i7.
Disc drive, can be blu-ray, I don't really mind.
8GB Memory
500GB Hard drive minimum.
I want the portability of an ultrabook but the performance of a high endish laptop. I would buy an ultrabook but they lack disc drives.
Budget, I'm looking to spend between £400-£700. But if there is something that really stands out I could stretch to £800.
I've looked at pc specialist (you can assemble your own custom laptop) But comparing it to laptops of similar specs the price to have one made is too high, roughly £150 more I think.
I've been recommended Lenovo laptops, and I have been looking at Acer's and Asus'. Sony's are ruled out simply due to the touchpad, don't want a Dell or Toshiba either.
Also if possible I want to be able to run Rfactor and other sims.
So what's good, and what should I steer clear of?
