I'm thinking of buying a new racing game, ive had GT5 since December now 98% done.

It would have to be a 4 wheel car game so no bikes or boats etc

I don't really mind if it's a brand new game or one thats been out for 4 years as long as it on ps3.

I don't just have money to "throw about" so I don't really want to spend £50 on a new game coming out in a few weeks because it "looks good". I want a game that people have played throughly and it will have a long game play Which will keep me interested.

You could tell us if u prefer a fun arcade racer or a simulation or if you don't mind which ever , it'll make suggesting a game for you easier.
But since you don;t want to spend big bucks you can get GRID for really cheap nowadays, its a good game especially considering how cheap it is.

I don't mind wether it's arcade or simulation, bought ridge racer a little while back. Grid slipped my mind, played it around a friends a while back and I enjoyed it.

I would stick with GRID as my suggestion then, theres a game of the year edition (or whatever its called) with all the DLC available , great value for money.

I love that you can create your own team and pick your own sponsors make your way up the grid then eventually get to race in the le mans 24 hrs , one of the best careers in any racing game for me.

I just had a quick look on play.com, buy most of my games from there. £5.77 is a good price for a decent racing game :)

Hope the main game is longer than GT5. Excluding the endurance an average gamer could complete A-Spec in a week or so :)

Its very long. Hidden Events, 24 hours of LeMans (Its not actually 24 hours) and building up your team and garage will keep you going for 2 months or so. But the servers are shut down though.

Ferarri challenge is a good cheap ps3 game. It's graphics are not GT5 quality, but everything else about it is really good.

Well i myself have made the move over to PC simracing. I have Race 07 and all it's add ons, RFactor and Grand Touring Legends and all are excellent games. To be honest I don't play GT5 nearly as much as those games. People are always putting out mods to add into the games and the amount of world known circuits (well over 240 tracks) which are all free to download, just keep me excited. And the online racing is excellent as well.
