What to do (and how to recover) when your alt account is lost

After being taunted by the error code 0x00000015 for GT5 for the last time, I reformatted my HDD in my Playstation3. I backed up my main savedata, but I absolutely forgot about my alt account's data (I thought that was already backed up; guess not).

The problem is resolved, but as a result, my alt account has been crushed. All of my tickets, paints, special outfits, and other items are gone down the pooper with the formatting... :guilty:

Now that I progressed throughout my primary savegame, I don't even feel like starting over. I have a wealth of cars, paints, and other items in my primary save, but everything else is gone from the alt account. I had a bunch of birthday tickets (even a 2010 ticket that I don't know how I'm going to get back) that have disappeared.

I wanted to trade to get all of my items back, but I've got nothing of value to trade! It's all too complicated, and this sounds like nothing but a sob story...

So someone tell me some good news about collecting stuff in GT5... :(
 
Well, borrow a car and do some seasonals and you'll very quickly look at the millions again.

I still have all of my cars in my current account, but every ticket, paint, and gear that I had on hold was on my alt... :nervous:
