What to do with myself?

I'll be graduating High School tomorrow, and I still don't know what I want to do with my life. I'm currently accepted to a college here, to take Computer Information Systems, but i'm not sure if that's even what I want to do. I love cars and computers, but i'm still not sure what to do, or if being a mechanic would be right for me (there's gotta be something else involving cars that I can do?) Could anyone possibly offer any tips? Much thanks :)
 
Well, who says you have to decide right now? And for that matter, research shows that the average person in America today goes through four different career changes during their life, so who says you have to stick with one thing? It's good to have a reliable trade to fall back on, though, and both CIS types and mechanics have that.
 
I guess... at the moment I'm trying to avoid and Office space (the whole movie :scared: ) type of situation.

Hell I didn't have the slightest clue on what I wanted to do. Just pick a college close to your home, live at home for a while, take all you basics. You won't know what you want to do for a while.

I'm through my first year of college and I still don't know what I wanna do. I kinda wish I had taken a year to get a job and figure things out, then go to college a bit later, but I have a feeling I'd still be in the same position. The thought of being a mechanic went through my head but most of the people I talked to thought I would be wasting my time doing that and that I'd be better off getting a normal degree. Hey you'll figure it out at some point, as will I.

Ruffest, I strongly suggest you go review the Acceptable Use Policy and the Terms of Service. They are crystal clear on what is acceptable.
 
Well you don't want to rush a decision so you should think it through what do u want to do. Think about each option throughly research them if you haven't already. I'm always hearing about peeps out there spending cash studying something they really don't want to do. Maybe take a year off school try to find a job near cars and computers.
