Okay, so earlier one of my friends was recommending me to buy GTR2 on Facebook. He linked me a couple of videos. One of them was a crash video showing the great damage and physics of the game. Now, one particular crash was very interesting.

It was a car going on to brick banking with no protection at the top and it drove straight off. It's obviously a mod with an old track as GT wasn't that dangerous 5 years ago.

I'm pretty sure it would be a one of a kind, like the tunnel at Monaco so I want to know the track.

Brick banking, no Armco at the top.

AVUS?

Scary track. I can't remember his name, but one driver was thrown from his car (although not on the banking) at the same track. Despite the car shattering into pieces, he was thrown in a way where he didn't get hurt, and he was able to run from the car. He was a little dazed, but he had a miraculous escape.

It was Hans Herman. I'll see if I can find the youtube video.

Edit:

Miraculous how he was able to walk away from this.

1 minute 44 in. Yes, that probably is the AVUS. Amazing crash there in the in F1 Fan's video:eek:

That is AVUS. I recognise it from the GT Legends version. It at least had a fence on the outside as the AI would drive off under the right circumstances.

Having a look at the BBC documentry on 1960's Grand Prix. They showed the Hans Herman crash and it was amazing how he survived that. The crowd cheered him on, they must not have expected him to survive. I can't find how many fatalities were at the AVUS, but it must be atleast 50.:nervous:
