I'm hearing the "My First Car" Top Gear commercial as I type this, but here goes. My apologies if this already exists, but the search said my terms were "too common" and wouldn't search.

As the title states.. what was your first serious car?
It doesn't have to be your first car since the game per se, but the first you really connected with.

The game can offer you some bleak options, I started out with a Daihatsu, I think. But I never really connected with it.

Let me start.

My first car I seriously loved and kept racing with until the harder races left it gathering dust in my garage... would the Chevrolet Corvette C3 off of the premium dealership. And I'mlloving the new classic seasonal for letting me wash some of that dust off.

The C3 is the last Corvette before Chevy started losing it's touch.
Mind you, the other Corvettes look nice, but don't have the same flair. The ZR1 looks great, absolutely stunning.. but even the ZR1 just seems to look like a shameless rip-off of the Dodge Viper.

Also, it helps that me and my dad are mostly into the older cars. :S

So tell me, what was your first serious car?

I used my first car (Subaru Impreza) to save up for a Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR '08 which I fully tuned to over 1000BHP.:scared:

I would've expected everyone would get acquainted with a more affordable car.

EDIT: Oh wait, I'm hoping that post was more about the Impreza than the Viper, despite how awesome it is. :P

First serious car have to be my MKIII Supra (premium) which i bought after my first car FTO (fwd...)

I like it, it's really fun to drive, good car to drift and it get's you noticed (almost full tuned, that first bodykit (A), carbon hood and passionable pink :D:D)

For me, the honda integra type R dc5, premium..really love it, even now with al the supercars i have fun to drive that one, stock.

And this was my first decent photo in gt5! Well, almost LOL

Ferrari Italia 458.

It was like my 5th car and blow my money account away, you really feel that much money like a hole in your pocket so early in the game. Great buy though.

Probably my 458 Italia. I used it for many a races and love it to death.

The MkV GTI was the second car I bought as I have one in real life. So I guess I'd call it my "first serious car" in the game.

By serious do you mean expensive? or fast?

Perhaps the Ferrari 512BB or the Mclaren F1, but those were certaintly not the first cars i really drove a lot. My Honda Civic Type R EK got a lot of use.

My first car was the FTO which I used to save up for the premium Mustang, which I then used to save up for the Trans Cammer. Unfortunatly I got a little drunk last night and when I woke up this morning the Trans Cammer was pink..... :grumpy: I'm hiding my game when I drink from now on.

The 190 Evo II Cosworth DTM car was the first big buy I did and is one of my most loved.

But ultimate car would be the Toyota GT-One , which I have always used from GT2 onwards.

That was my 2nd love of GT5.

The Corvette and Camaro Z28, then finally I threw money at an Italia.
But my god, it's a great buy.

I think I'm being misunderstand.

I wanted to say "first car", but that could've been a car you hated, like I hated my Daihatsu (I think).

I wanted to know the first you spent money on that you actually were proud to call your own.
Doesn't have to be a 100,000+ Cr car.

My first car was a standard yellow Miata, I won a few races and bought a GT-R SpecV, now with 850 BHP.

Then it would have to be my 98 Civic Type R !👍

Looking at my switched car stats I have several primary cars:
GT-R V-spec 09 for more serious varied racing.
69 Stingray for fun racing, classics, and drifting (often while racing).
66 Shelby Cobra (for insane challenging driving).

I stepped through the door and closed it behind me. Turned the ignition button to hear the sound of 2.5 L 227 hp turbocharged then adjusted the helmets on my head and took a drive around The Green Hell.

My first car was the civic from the dealer and it was very good but the best was when I bought a corvette and than racing mod it. It is super good at all tracks and I still use it all the time for grinding.

The camaro Z28 '69....i later put a raxing modification on, and i just fell in love, i was able to slide that beast around the track, without losing it.....now i drive it, from time to time, when im bored.

The Lambo Murc SV670...my first big supercar buy in GT5...dumped most of my early A-Spec credits into it, but then again--it got me through a LOT of races too. And Bob seemed to like it.

Very pleased with my first two purchases;97 Civic Type R which won circuit races and rallies, then the Corvette Z06 which I ran stock and RM'd. My two most winning cars by far.
