What wheel for Disabled?

Hey guys, I have a question that I need an answer on. O.K. I want to buy a wheel for just GT5. No other games. I am a long time player, lover of Gran Turismo. Can any of the wheels be used without the pedals?
Can you program certain buttons to comfortable use as a gas- brake pedals? I have recently found my self with little use of anything below my stomach. I'm pretty good with a sixaxis controller, but I want more feedback and realism. Cost isn't a real issue,and I like the look of the g25 and 27. My uncle loves his g27 for irace. But he knows nothing about gt5. Would one of the cheaper ones be better?

The wheel you are looking for is the Logitech Driving Force Wireless. The gas/brake are used buy the paddles behind the wheel this wheel has no foot paddles. It can be seen on "Best Buy" homepage. This wheel works with GT5 and you can program the buttons (I think you use the DFP wheel setting for this)
