As the thread title states, what will you do after completing GT5? I'm curious with what everyone will do with the game after beating all A-Spec/B-Spec events, getting 100%, etc. or if they'll just leave the game alone afterwards.

For me, I don't care about getting gold in anything but the A-Spec events. So afterwards, I will just hunt down my favorite cars that may appear in used car dealer and tune them and race online. Time trials will keep busy afterwards for quite a while as well.

I doubt I'll ever truely "beat" GT5. :) I could care less about 100% in everything, as I get bored winning every single race. But assuming I ever do finish the game (which will take years for me) I'll probably just keep messing around with it. I'm going to have multiple A-spec drivers (multiple game saves) going; each driver tends to collect certain types of cars. 👍 So that's a lot to do right there.

i'm trying to get all the cars so i can't tell when i'll beat it in the first place

I myself is making a checklist for the cars, and im checking it twice. But when i do finish i am sure i will hold a funeral for all the wasted time playing this.

I'll just start again from scratch but not use ANY of the cars that I owned the first time around.

Race online, race alone, open lapping, create tracks, etc.

GT has never been a game I play to finish, rather, I finish the game to acquire money and to gain access to everything I may need for the next few years. Once the game is complete, the fun starts.

same here!

Probably spam the highest paying races so I can keep buying and tuning cars. 👍

I won't ever finish the game 100% cause of those dang endurance races, but also because I would probably get bored of GT5 before I finish 100%.

I'll go outside and play, but I don't think my eyes will adjust to the bright light coming from the so called "Sun".

I think the most of us wont hit the 100% but even if i do there is no end of gt5, because the online mode is so awesome i could play it everyday!
I will stop playing gt5 when gt6 comes out!

I won't finish this game. B-Spec just doesn't hold my interest. I'll knock off A-Spec one of these days and pretty much do the occasional specials or gold licensee but it'll be all online for me. Once that dies then hopefully FM4 will be around the corner. I'm trying to do different events for this game but PD sure has made it hard unless you can swallow the Standard cars.

I'll probably never finish it, at least until we get a "save" option for endurance races. No way I'm leaving my PlayStation on for the weeks it would take for me to finish one of those 4-hour races. Also, grinding long enough to reach the level to even start those events seems questionable right now.

Battlefield Vietnam, well already have. GT5 has turned into a short break from other games, use to be the other way around.

When I do finish the game 100%, all trophies, all events and all cars.
I will learn to drive without ABS 1.
I will also redo some A-Spec events with underpowered cars.
Most of the beginning ones where I had no money I used my overpowered Stealth cars for.

Will play it less in the end I guess, it is just to addictive at the moment and looks to darned pretty.
Unless they make some massive changes for setting up cars and sort online racing so that is more customizable I will just drop it all to gether. My focus is with online sim racing on the PC anyhow which is much more fun and much more organized.

I would love to pick a car and track and try to see how high up the leaderboards I can get like in GT5 Prologue but until they bring that to GT5 I think I will just enjoy driving cars round the Nurburgring.
