I would pay retail price...yeah, that's about it other than standing in line for hours like on mucho sucko's longest line vid with like 1000 people in a line in Tokyo waiting for the *cough* mac *cough* store to open up. I'd want mine in white so I can do my own custom paint scheme. I have yet to do that with my PS2 though. Oh, and I'd probably mod it with led's and fans and maybe a clear window with a cool cathode blacklite for effect. Heck. Maybe I'll make my own case for it or I'll get a life...

From what I can tell, a MS fanboy on these forums at least, is someone who doesn't gush and piss their pants over the ps3 and every scrap of info on it. They are usually the people who view gaming and machines from a more rational viewpoint of "good games are good games", not "OMG OMG SONY AR3 GONNA KILL M$!11!!".

As for what I'd do for a PS3, well down here in New Zealand we probably won't get it until the rest of the world's demand has been met, ie: 3 - 6 months later. I'm prepared to fly to Japan or USA and buy one myself, and bring it home with me. That way I can be the first in NZ to own one. How cool would that be. I wonder if it will be compatible when I get it home?...

I must not be as 'out-there' as some people because travelling halfway around the world to buy a gaming console seems pretty extreme to me.
