If you had 2 million pounds/dollars AND you had just 24 hours to spend it?

I would go off to the estate agents, secure myself a house and then give some to my parents for all the trouble they have had to put up with then finally with about the 100k left I would get myself a Dodge Viper for when I get a license, that would leave me with roughly 20k which should only just cover the insurance for the thing. :)

What about you?
 
I'd buy a block of inner city flats and rent them out to Manchester university students at typical inner city prices.
 
Buy one of the flats right next to the beach and a Ford GT and a BMW M5.
And I would also buy a boat. And some Kona mtbs and bmxs.
And spend all my money on everything else that I want.
 
I'd order a pair of Bugattis and kill myself over the insurance :dopey:

realistically, an Audi RS6, and a penthouse suite with a view. If there's money left over, I'd spend it on a Klipsch sound system with a nice DLP. Should be good 👍
 
Id give it to a really old guy, liek on his deathbed old.
then i'd Make him change his will to give the 2 million dollars back to me when he dies.
then i'd have 2 million, and the rest of my life to spend it, since i already spent it by giving it to the old guy, and thus voiding the 24 hour time limit on spending it.

Id buy a flat in the london docklands for like 700k, buy a caterham superseven (the one that includes entry to the caterham championship in the price) for 14k, id buy a ex factory group A rally car then enter the BRC totalling about 400k for the champiosnhip, lamborghini gallardo for when i get a licesne for 120k or whatever it is, put some into the bank for the insurance (about 100k) then buy a nice villa in spain for 80k and then top it off with a big mouths triple cheeseburger for £4.50.

-get rid of all our debt/bills
-import an R34 GT-R V-Spec II and buy a Nissan X-Terra for myself, and a WRX STi and Nissan Titan for my gal (ALL of 'em white 👍 )
-invest, invest, invest
-buy a house for the parents and a condo for the sister (mom and dad have brand new vehicles, so I'd buy my sis a Mustang GT conv.)
-oh, and get one of those TV refrigerators :lol:

Sorry, but you have to spend it within 24 hours, or it disappears. If I really got 2 million dollars, I would put it in the bank, too, and use the interest to supplement my income.

As it is, I think I'll change my answer. I'll put it all on red instead.
 
I'd by a house on a bunch of land, have a dirt track built for sprint cars etc. and a supercross track built for dirtbikes and quads, buy my dad his vette he always wanted, give $50,000 to my three siblings, $100,000 to my parents and buy myself a car or two. Use whatever left for insurance.

Kona Coiler Dee lux
Kona Stinky Primo
Kona Scab
Kona Cowan

Surly 1X1 SS

All decked out with Chris King, SRAM X.0, and Raceface Diabolous.

Give my parents enought to pay off payments and buy the cars they want.

Buy some land and some dirt. Have fun building DJ's.

Oh, and get a partner to build a Freeride MTB park.

and a few more of these systems, order them all on newegg in a mattter of hours.

And with ther rest (after $100,000 or so of computer parts) I would buy stocks and sell them the next day to get that money again!!

Hey, could you be a little more inane?

Anyway, on topic… What do you mean by “spend” it? Would putting it in, say, a mutual fund be considered spending, since that money would be used to buy stocks and bonds and stuff? What about a CD (Certificiate of Deposit, not Compact Disc)?
