What would you have?

I deliver food, and not surprisingly, a few guys I work with are into cars. New guy Fred, drives a Civic EX rather spiritedly, would like an STi, 2004 or 2007. But really, he'd have a new GT500 and customize the hell out of it. That got me to thinking, what would I have, really?

Kind of surprised myself, but R32 GT-R, gunmetal grey. Yeah, that's what I'd have, 1989, if I had the money and was lucky enough to find one, just a monumental car, changed everything which followed.

Then I wondered, what would others at GTP have, if they had the choice. Seemed like a fun question to ask, so...

If we're talking sort of semi-realistic I'd have a 1965 289 4-speed Mustang in Rangoon Red. Fastback is my favourite body style, but in terms of cost a Coupé would be more realistic. But then I'd need want a heated garage and money to spend on fuel. Plus I'd only really want to drive it in summer. So realistically I'll never end up owning one, but ho hum.

If we're talking a world where money is no object and practicality is irrelevant where I wouldn't constantly worry about scratching it it'd be (surprise, surprise) an original MKIV. But I think you're more asking about our more realistic dream cars right?
