What XBLA games should I buy? To me, some of the demo's don't let you get a feel for the real game. So far I've tried Uno (I will buy this), Bankshot Billards (I'm thinking about buying this), Marble Blast Ultra, and Astropop. Apparently the person who owned this 360 before me bought HexicHD so I've got the full version of that. Any reviews or recommendations?

I think Hexic and Geometry Wars are the best Arcade games. I have those 2 along with Bankshot Billiards, which is a little disappointing for some reason that I can't put my finger on. I was hoping for a bit more because I love shooting pool, but for some reason the game just doesn't have a "fun" factor to it. But I'd recommend Geometry Wars for sure, it's a super fast action game similar to an updated version of asteriods.👍

I tried the demo (as well as the real arcade variants) of geometry and I can never really get into it. :indiff: I guess I'll just stick with Uno right now, seeing as Bankshot Billiards 2 is still 1200points, and that's all I have.

My favourite arcade game is Marble blast ultra, it's a great single player game and it's lots of fun online as well.

Bankshot Billiards is really fun, but for 1200 points, I'd rather buy something else, like both the Speed and Style packs for PGR3 (with extra spending points for themes and such), or Chapter 2 for GRAW, or several other arcade games, etc. I still love it, and don't regret getting it, but I would rather spend my points elsewhere. It probably doesn't help that you have 60 seconds to try it out, then it boots you. :indiff:

And BTW, it's called Bejeweled. ;)

I highly recommend that everyone buys Heavy Weapon. This game is absolutely insane with 4 people!!!! The highest we managed to survive was 18 minutes. I played for 6-7 hours straight on friday then another 7-8 hours straight on saturday. Extremly fun arcade game.
Another fun game is Assult Heros. Its only 2 player co-op but its definetly worth buying and has excellent graphics. Especially the water level. It also has a main enemy at the end of each level.
If you like zoo tycoon, roller coaster tycoon games or Viva Pinata then I recommend Outpost Kaloki X.
Contra is also another great classic and the up up down down code even works!!! You dont get achievements with the code.
Marble Blast Ultra is also very fun and the graphics are very nice.
Frogger is also very fun.
There are actually quite a few really fun arcade games out there now.

So far I have Marble Blast Ultra, Geometry Wars, Contra, Assault Heroes, and Hexic (but that's free, so I don't really count it). I guess, if you're strapped for cash, I'd say that Geometry Wars and Marble Blast are "must-have's", since I've clocked quite a large amount of time on those two alone.

Also keep in mind you can download and play any demo of those arcade games for free. I have quite a few free arcade demos I still play that I havent bought yet.

I'm surprised I've not suggested Lumines Live! in here yet.

It's a tad expensive, but it's awesome fun. Just a shame I progress through it so quickly as I've played it so much already.

I think Novadrome was worth the money, but it's basically the same thing over and over again.
