great just what we need in the states. More jackass kids driving side ways down our roads.

I like drifting but now when some americans do it. I have seen a few good american drifers but so far, most of them just suck. All the drifitng vids I download off of Kazaa that have americans drifitng usualy arent that good...

I'm just afarid that this will take to the streets. There is nothing wrong with doing it on the track.

Yeah I agree with that. If you have Kazaa, search for this: Hawaii Battle Version

It has american drifters in it. One guy in a green Nissan (?) is actually pretty good, but the rest are :yuck:...

Most american kids will think its cool, try to do it, and not realize that their car is front wheel drive, and naturally, they wont have nearly enough skill to control it directly. Fun for the insurance companies.

Americans have been drifting on dirt tracks with midgets and sprint cars for decades. I think they're pretty good.

Yeah but those arent street cars and are made like that. Plus that's on dirt, not tarmac/ concete...

i was preaching this almost 2 years ago now. seeing f&f become huge, it was sure to be a short time before all of the option style **** came into style here.

I have figured out whats behind it all at only the age of 18. Image infatuated kids. It doesnt matter if its bad rice, less bad rice, ****ty drifters, or whatever. Kids will emulate something they see in magazines or videos to create an image for themselves.

I just went to a meet for www.mnsportcompacts.net . It was definately my last. All the people there were wearing the same "i am cool" shades. a lot of rice going on there. some cars were cleaner than others, but all that meant is they were the enlightened ones. They all did whatever they wanted to their cars because they thought it made them cool. As they all laid burnouts when they left it became so clear to me. I just shook my head.

(I did meet one cool guy there though. He owned a 944 with 350ish hp. When I asked him what car was his i said, "whoa, thats not japanese." He luaghed. We got to talking. That was basically his street car, he raced with porsche club also. His dad owns a local porsche/bmw/vw performance shop and built him a race car. He later mentioned he didnt know why the hell he was there either.)

drifting magazine? my god.
I sure hope that thing wont be "in" here in mexico. I REALLY hope.

Lol..American drifters do suck...They have RWD cars, and most of them put moderate power into them..Yet they still hardly slant their car and/or rely on the e-brake

*actually they do drift on 'tarmac' to an extent, they get pretty sideways on a small paved oval.

I doubt it..Because there's ALOT of magazines that are published that I have to go to Borders Or BArns & Nobel to find..Like HCI and what not....Even though they all SUKK..except for SCC and SS
