What are you trying to figure out? As with anything that is "best" it depends on who you ask. There are certain "differences" to each brand, but it depends on what you're trying to do.

Around here, the "best" engine is the KT100 because that's where the most competition is and the cheapest to get into. Best chassis will be whichever, to me they're all about the same. I have a Tony Kart with a shifter engine and just got a birel for my KT100. Had a Margay before.

Agreed. Chassis choice basically comes down to what is popular and well supported at your local tracks. Dealer support is worth more than the difference between an Arrow or a CRG or a Tony Kart.

As for engine, the best is the one that consistently attracts big fields at your local tracks because that's where you'll have the most competition and the best chance of a fun race. Go to your local track on a race weekend and ask around if you want to figure out what to buy.

I race Rotax and my next chassis will be a CRG.

Well I race a Tonykart EVR with a junior Rotax engine. However in the UK our circuits are relatively low grip so the softness of the OTK chassis family (Tonykart, Alonso, Kosmic, ect) suits us. However if you are just starting then the chassis make will do sod all difference, you are where the improvement will come.

However with engines its not which engine is best, its which is raced near you. Go down your local track, see whats most popular there and then go buy one of them. Then you won't be billy no mates at the track and you know the equiptment won't be holding you back.
