Whats a good freeware photoshop?

Just wondering if there is any? I'd like to try one out, so if there's any good free ones out there, or even just decent ones, could you tell me where to get one?
 
Google (I think) has a free one called Picasa on their website. Not sure how good it is, though.

i just got done downloading Picasa.WEWT! 👍

Well now that ive played with it's realy not bad for being free it gives you qiet abit to work with now i just have to figure out how to upload the pic's that i did on the program not the one's from my pic's folder.Can anyone tell me how?
 
im gunna have to through this out there. its a real good program made by the fine students up here at the washington state university, called paint dot net, or paint.net. you can find it here give it a worl. its about as good as paintshop or photoshop but its for free. trust me.
 
If you don't mind spending a little, Photoshop Elements would be fine for most people.

Also, there is an open-source project known as GIMP which is available for a number of operating systems. I'm not fond of it, but it is powerful and free.
 
i use Photo Filtre, i kno i'm like theo nly person here thta uses it, but i think its REALLY easy to use, and it comes out with some pretty god pics. i forgot were i got it.
 
well, picasa is a great download, but there are plenty of others out there for free, get limewire, its like a 5mb download, then, try and get paint shop pro 9 through limewire, everything is free and no spyware. Also, you can get a variety of phtoshops through that, but most with invalid cracks and missing files. Paint shop pro uses a simliar software setup as any photoshop and does not require registration. Also, the best editing program is PS CS 2. if ya got 600 dollars, but like i said, best free one would have to be paint shop pro 9 through limewire, which you can get here

Picasa is free, i used to have it.

and yes limwire is illegal.

you can get picasa through limewire, which is not illegal, court has deemed file sharing no different from sharing a cd with a friend, because there is no central server, only the mini servers provided by your comp. So have fun with limewire. Great for music/movies etc. too. I dont mean to be rude, just sayin that its perfectly legal, 100 million people cant go wrong.

What you need to do is click on the "go back to library" button, then click "Select : All"
Then in the bottom right corner it says "Export" after you export, you can find the pics in my documents, then my pictures, and then picasa exports.
