Hey All

Just wondering what is classed as High Mileage for a car in GT5?. I ask because i dont want to waste $$$ on an engine rebuild if its not needed. It would come in handy in purchasing used cars i think.

Thanks

AA

In actuality a decent mileage could be something like 200,000km, but id gander 50,000km and over would do it for GT5.

I picked up the Citroën 2CV Type A ‘54 for ~11,000 with almost 400,000 miles on the clock (for the Maximum Mileage and Old-Timer trophies!) I think that qualifies.

What's the milage where a race car's engine is rebuilt? I'm pretty sure it's going to be closer to 50,000 than 200,000.

A bit more wear and tear when the engine is working on the limit 90% of the time and not just driving to work.

Thanks for the info.

So 150000 wouldnt be classed as high?.

Would it be car dependant like IRL (in real life for some) do you think? or would that be a general rule of thumb for all cars in the game?.

Thanks

AA

In R.L. some race cars replace their engines every other race....

I haven't seen a car with more than 80,000 on the clock so far - have many people got this trophy yet?

The trophy description says 300,000km (that's 186,500 miles) :(

Lucky man - I want that car :-)

I got a cosmo with 477k on the clock!
